Well, technically you can have your creatures get +3/+0 for 4{R}{R} without the needing of another spell and discarding this. Once again, another card being useless for been a sorcery instead of an instant.

Once you have a very high amount of mana this card gets very, very strong. With 10 red mana all your creatures would get +6/+0. Reusable. 2.5/5

Aun, the idea is that the way you GET that 10 mana is with Rite if Flames and Seething Songs.

Turn 1. Play a forest and Concordant Crossroads Turn 2. Play a mountain and 4 Ornithopters then play Haze of Rage. You WIN!

@niallcmurray86, Evil genius! But that hand would be nearly impossible to have in a given game.
@Nikeyeia: It becomes rather ridiculous with anything that can reduce it's cost by {3}, which can be achieved by Memory Crystal, Helm of Awakening, Locket of Yesterdays or the likes. {R} to give all your creatures +alot/+0 seems like one helluva deal in my eyes. Too bad I generally run zero creatures in my storm decks (except for maybe Dragon Fodder and Empty the warrens)
@DespisedIcon replace ornithopters with memnite or free kobolds or any 0 mana creature of your choice(or a kuldotha rebirth) and it is easily done.

if you run a red/green deck, this is hella strong.
use green for the mass mana, and red for the creatures. BAM.

Any way to reduce casting cost makes this very damaging. I can envision a deck full of effects like Semblance Anvil, Arcane Melee, Goblin Electromancer, Cloud Key, etc, that gets this down to costing {R} with Buyback and proceeds to blow out with some ridiculous amount of castings.

This is as blatant as they come:
A powerful effect, IF maxed. Costs lots of mana. Includes two very old abilities that pair well together. Costs an assload and a half of mana to use to full effect.
Fellow Planeswalkers: Strictly Excellent in EDH, almost bad elsewhere. It's got a great amount of potential, no doubts there, but most of its power is only accessible under circumstances that are hard to encounter outside of EDH or other Kitchen Table formats. Definitely scores high on the fun scale when it works though :) 12/4/2011
EDIT: a year and a half later, I thought of a better way of wording what I meant: it's basically a mana-dump storm card, much like lots of storm cards, BUT I think it's probably a lot more fair than most storm cards while still not being broke. 3-stars is a good rating for it, and I like this card. :)

Say you have Mana Echoes, and Goblin Warchief; it's T5. -Play War Mashal for {R} -You get {5}, use {R}{R} from your mountains, give them all +5/+0
