they just printed noxious revival. did the team of 2012 not talk to the scars of mirrodin team? kite shield is another example of strictly worse cards printed in this set that was in scars.

Whatever anyone says, this will have a home in my Intet, the Dreamer EDH deck, along with Time Stretch and friends. Noxious Revival is technically better, but this has the flavor I want, so I am happy. BE HAPPY WITH ME.
I think they printed this after Noxious Revival because maybe some people didn't like the Phyrexian theme to be inside of a green mana/ramp deck, for instance.

Recycle old fogs and rampant growths for 1. It has always been a decent common, except for the card disadvantage

It's here because Noxious Revival will *gasp* rotate out eventually! They kind of have a handle on the fact that core sets stay around for multiple blocks.
Not sure how good the card is though.

@Tanaka348 Reclaim and Noxious Revival will rotate out at the same time.

"Draw a card."
(That would make this comparable to noxious revival.)

@Enchantment_Removal: Actually if this card was a cantrip, it would be an instant speed Regrowth for half the cost and pretty much broken...
It completely makes sense that this was printed after Noxious Revival. The logic is that any color can sacrifice its soul(or two life) to return a card from the graveyard, but only green can do it twice as often and without sacrifice.

Unlike Regrowth, Reclaim keeps you from losing to being decked. That does matter.

@DacenOctavio: If you're about to be decked, and you're playing against a mill deck, a single card isn't going to help very much at all. If you're about to be decked, and you're NOT playing against a mill deck, then something is seriously wrong with your deck (besides the fact that you have Reclaim in it).
Noxious Revival is strictly better. Im guessing they thought that the phyrexian mana was a disadvantage when its actually an advantage.

Absolutely broken with the new miracle cards entering standard via Wings of Avacyn. Cast on opponents turn, put a miracle on top of your library ... is it still a miracle? Oh yes it is. Imagine using this card with Forbidden Alchemy and Snapcaster Mage.

Usually, I'd be mad about strictly worse prints like this, but I actually need 2 of these and 4 Revivals for a deck, so I'm not complaining. :)

A great one-of in my Call of the Wild deck. The Call is a favorite target, as are my big creatures. It is nice to be able to throw something big on top of my deck at instant speed, and put it into play during a combat step.

Who is calling this card broken? You fools! If you want broken, consider scroll rack with miracle. That's still not what I would call broken. Maybe the sensei's divining top sort of approaches that level. Reclaim has been around since Exodus and is a fantastic card. I thought it was a rare for such a long time because of how good it is but it's not broken. Having to wait that extra turn is a tremendous disadvantage despite the recursion. All it is is really really good, okay?

This is just a great card, comparable to Revive, but what makes this great is, for example My turn I hardcast Genesis Wave Opponent's turn Opponent uses Terminus Sad face? I think not! I use Reclaim at the end of his or her turn, to take back Genesis Wave My turn Draw my Genesis Wave (Like I didn't see that coming) Shuffle my deck with Nissa Revane, even though I don't have Nissa's Chosen Hardcast Genesis Wave Look my creatures are back!

Would be pretty good in a Modern deck with miracles: get the miracle you want back when you need it. Even better if you can nab it immediately with an instant draw, on the opponent's turn.

Generally Noxious Revival is better... except you can run this in pauper format.
