looks like a 7/7 but then you would have a blue creature which must be sideboarded into every deck. this thing demands the field. its not legendary either, so 4 just break the game

Comboes well with Soratami Rainshaper; the rainshaper can give it shroud (so it dies less to removal, which is helpful for 2 toughness), and the "land bounce" ability ensures you'll be playing at lest one land per turn.

Combined with any card that sacs creatures (Vampire aristocrat etc) this card turns all your lands into terminates at the least, and mind controls at the best. You can get him turn 4 or 5 with green and take 1-4 creatures on the turn he comes into play.

It's cool that you get like free creature steal, but there's a number of ways to just kill it and get all your creatures back, nullifying it. You also can't use the creature it steals until the turn after it comes into your control. If you can protect it with maybe shielding plax or vines of vastwood then it could potentially do a lot. I wouldn't play it competitivley though at 6 mana, there's so many ways to remove it at that point in the game.

Ahhhh I love how all the blue players complaining about how this card isn't broken enough. If this thing had 4 toughness at that cost I would probably quit magic. Blue has enough ways to cover this thing WITHOUT it being a 0/4 and probably requiring 2 burns from the get go.
At least this way the card has a something resembling balance

unfortunately, a very easy card to remove. However, ive been running a blue/green with some massive land acceleration in it, and this card works wonders. i simply hold on to a rampant growth or harrow until i get the card, then combine it with a kicked rite of replication. whether you get two lands from harrow, or one from rampant growth, 12 creature steals is a game ender, and 6 is big trouble.
Powerful effect, high CC, somewhat tough to get to the table but can seriously cause a problem once it shows up.

I Also have a Blue/Green Landfall deck this is way playable in fact if I get this and another card (which I will reveal in a minute) I can take all there creatures lay down a creature to kill all of theres and it buffs me up a ton then next round I instantly win unless they have Wrath of god which makes me take out Reclaim which then I get my 2 cards back and I repeat the process
Mycoloth is the reason this strategy works he simply comes out devours all 4-10 of there creatures gets 2 +1/+1 counters for each one then next turn I get however many counters he has into 1/1 green creatures which I then use unsummon lay down mycoloth again and he just got twice as strong I mean there is no stopping my strategy ... Unless you have a protection from green blue deck or you have a ton of counters or you have a spell deck But other then that... lol

Great card and awesome for just stealing every creature players have. It's only failing is it's toughness and it will die to any typical damage spell but it's still a greta card. Great in White or Green where you can pump it's toughness up to protect it.

It works well with the Living Tsunami. A six casting cost is a bit steep, but it can very easliy be worth it. This card isn't for every player, but I enjoy playing it.
I don't see why everyone is complaining about this being a 3/2 for 6 mana. It's a flying creature that can effectively control an unlimited number of creatures. (Mind Control, Clone and Rite Of Replication cost 4-5 and those are easily defeated.)
I used Terramorphic Expanse to bump up my landfalls and also had a Living Tsunami on deck for ensuring that I always had at least one landfall (except I lost it early grr).
Add a Whispersilk Cloak and you're golden.
4 of these in a deck? Good night. This is a fantastic card.

For any of you that think that this is lightning bolt fodder, then think about the fact that you're playing BLUE, with millions of counters at your disposal, so just throw out a negate.
Um, yeah. Needs a landfall deck for it to work, but you don't get 6 mana all that often in that kind of deck unless you have some seriously good mana ramp. With that, then this is playable, particularly teamed with living tsunami or vapor snare or something. But even then, you'd have to tap out for it, which leaves it very vulnerable to burn (and if you have enough mana to cast and protect it, then you really should be running rite of replication anyway). But even with thesed drawbacks, 3.5/5, because I can definitely appreciate the fun factor (for you, and annoyance factor for your opponent), and there probably are just enough ways to cheat it into play earlyish and give it some kind of protection as well.

The combo between this and Vapor Snare is hilarious (given you dont intend to play any more land.)
Take control of a creature, then keep doing it every upkeep.
It is balanced by the fact that it costs 6 mana, has two power and dies to all removal. That's not even balance really, i'd say this card wasn't very good at all. Even green can easily handle it now thanks to plummet. Powerful effect though. 3.5/5
Emrakul is not immune.
Instants and sorceries will become more concentrated on the bottom of their deck.
You likely stole or disarmed any bombs they had.

I loved this card. Used in my blue control deck, this gave me the end-game mechanic needed to sometimes turn the tide in battle. Hold onto a few Deprives to shield your lil' roil from burns, removal, and Timmy's and you'll quickly turn adversity into advantage! I agree that it doesn't look like a 3 in power, but it's definitely a 2 in toughness. Didn't really need flying (since you don't want to be attacking with it, anyways), but at least it gives green a chance to swat it out of the sky with Plummet, Leaf Arrow, Windstorm, and the like.
Excellent job, Raymond Swanland. The art on this card is absolutely fantastic. The commanding, powerful, and daunting imagery fits the flavor text and card mechanic precisely. The swirling elements of wind, dust, earth, and even creatures all converging to a single point adds a dynamic and controlling theme to the picture. It is sure to leave your opponent(s) reaching for everysingleremovalspell they have in their arsenal. Be ready!

Play this and then get ready with a shit load of counterspells as your opponent desperately tries to kill it. I've had to fight off everything from lightning bolts to multiple Day of Judgements and Phyrexian Rebirths to keep it alive.
This is an excellent gating card; people new to the game say "Stealz creeturs LULZ OMG 5/5!eleven1", overlooking the fact that, the more you take, the bigger swing to the opponent's side when it dies (and it WILL). All colours have easy answers to this, and it's far too expensive to have 2 toughness.
TL; DR if you like this card, you probably don't know what you're doing.

Im running this in a Blue-Green deck with a landfall Mana ramp, I usualy have it on the field by turn 4, and a Terramorphic on the field the following field. Fast enough that Im running it in FNM against a bunch of infect decks. Also running Omnath, Locus of Mana and Rite of Replications to copy it 5 times easily. so funny to play ONE land and take 6 creatures.

Good card and fair-costed and fair p/t for the uber-effect. Cheaper or beefier and he would've been unfair.
PS, using Perilous Forays activates more landfall! So it's like saying, "1: opponent sacrifices a creature, you put a basic land into play tapped!"

@clockworkswordfish If it does not die the turn it comes out, you should have some, I dont know, counters? I mean, its not like this card is in blue (sarcasm).
They can try to deal with it, with no success. The real danger is the turn you drop this thing, unless you save up 8 mana, but then its coming out to late.
So maybe not a spike card, but it can easily win you games if you play correctly.
I liking using this in my Isperia the Inscrutable EDH. The flying means I can search him with her ability, and she also lets me search this guy's good buddy: Patron of the Moon. Double Mind Control at instant speed for 1 colorless? Seems good.

I feel like it should be able to steal lands and artifacts too. It's in Zendikar (a land set) and it pulls everything physical towards it, it's art is ripping the land apart, etc..
I think it'd be neat had they mixed him with Phyrexian Ingester so he just got huge as he sucked up permanents.
