Wonderful art, good stats, great ability (if you know your opponent's deck...), restrictive cost.

lmao, you dont need to know their deck you attack once, have a little look, and then when you attack again you know whats gonna be there. maybe this is why they reprinted meddling mage aswell...

Or you could have a telepathy out =D the only problem I see is when your opponent(s) don't have a hand. Otherwise, double strike is a guaranteed correct guess.

I think its cost is pretty cheap (but fair!) which makes it come out pretty soon in the game - and sometimes I was hit in the face by a friend of mine with it, then... :-/
Usually I like to kill things with Last Gasp but in this case I can only keep it from assigning combat damage - grmpf! ^^
That was it's unblockable, I know what's in their hand, and i can force them to draw a card each turn so they have a hand.

I would hardly say 5CC for a 3/6 flyer is prohibitive. The ability lets you tutor any creature from your deck, which is pretty devastating.
Nice ability, combos very well with white and blue since they are so flyer intensive.

A fantastic EDH general that's basically impossible to kill in combat and lets you stuff your deck full of fun little toolbox fliers. Combos well with Wandering Eye, as well as Archon of Redemption.

I'd imagine this Legend would help an otherwise less predictable EDH deck to become more consistent. Able to search your library for flyers instead of waiting on drawing one is always welcomed.

This card is pretty great even when not in EDH. The deck i run uses mostly one of a kind flyers so its easy to tutor them out. works especially well with Steel of the Godhead and Ocular Halo. Plus the upkeep of flyers lets Luminarch Ascension get to its 4 quest counters. plus Stormtide Leviathan prevents non-flyers from attacking. Plus if you get Steel of the Godhead on Isperia you can just give him Magebane Armor until stormtide hits the field

The art on this is gorgeous... It also synergizes well with other sphinxes, as it will allow you to fetch it. Equip a Mask of Riddles or Steel of the Godhead and let your Isperia do the scrutinizing. ;D

Love this as an EDH general. Flows well with UW control to ensure you get that combat damage. Combo with flying elementals and Supreme Exemplar for MASSIVE DAMAGE.

First rare I ever got, along with wakestone gargoyle. One of my favorite EDH cards.

Bounce the flying chump blocker, name the bounced critter, bam new flyer. Now you know whats in hand for next turn. Couldn't be simpler

i run twin copies of this beautiful lady in a U/W deck, classic Azorius playstyle around flying and tapping. the thing i Cannot Stress Enough is that, even on the first swing you call wrong, YOUR OPPONENET HAS TO REVEAL THEIR HAND. just remember what theyve got and watch what they play (having a photographic memory helps ftw). twin Sage Owls, and Telling Times help get what i need, twin Aven Mimeomancers (almost all the cards in it are in twin sets, as i've found it most effective; greatest still-reliable variety) plenty of tapping cards, Sleep, Fulgent Distraction, Plumes of Peace, and, to use that to its fullest, twin Palliation Accords and a searchable-with-Isperia Sunblast Angel. it may be flying- heavy, but i PREFER to play Against heavily-anti-flying decks for the Challenge of it and i STILL win. Isperia my dear, you are the epitome of versatility.

A good kind of weird, might make an interesting General
Use her as one of my EDH general. With plenty of Aura search cards and transmute she can be unblockable pretty easy. She usually fetches Archon of Redemption then Iona, Shield of Emeria or whatever big effect I need. Also her colors allow for plenty of control in the game.
Her recent self-appointment as Supreme Court Justice makes me quite happy.

@Lord_of_Gelectrodes:
- This costs one less mana. - This tutors new Isperia. On curve, too. - this doesn't get nullified by your own Ghostly Prison.
Therefore, the Inscrutable is better than Supreme Judge. Don't argue with the logic.

A superb card, arguably more useful than Isperia, Supreme Judge, this Isperia can provide both a solid defence and decent offensive capabilities, in addition to helping immensely through both forcing your opponent to reveal their hand and, of course, tutoring additional fliers. She's pretty much an auto-include in my (admittedly casual) U/W deck.

Wow, an EDH general that is WU and can make a deck that is not horrific to play against. De-licious.
Use her like Rune-Scarred Demon. When you connect with your finisher (her) search for another one of her. If they kill her then you just play another. Do this until you win; which is normally pretty soon.
