Load him up with every aura you can, finish up by giving him shroud.

How about putting a bunch in play, and targeting them all with Comet Storm? Yay for complicated ways to make your spells slightly cheaper.

Don't bother trying to use this one. Either your deck is built specifically for this one creature that you can only have 4 of, or your deck is an aggressive deck that uses overcosted giant growths like stonewood invocation. and adding this guy only makes it ever so marginally better. If so, might as well replace him with a more efficient beatstick. Really though, no matter what, you are setting yourself up for card disadvantage, I can just sudden death it for 2 or terror for 1.

with an enchantress to stop card advantage loss, you can throw loads of stuff like oakenform, elephant guide, and boar umbra on him for only 1 mana each!

Hmm. Rite of Replication, then... um.... hmmm. There has to be some way to use that. Just... not sure what.
Not a game-breaking combo, but mildly amusing how it plays out so neatly.

Just saying turn one plains. Turn two forest and this guy. Turn three island Battle Mastery,Shielding Plax, and Traveler's Cloak. You just drew two extra cards and have a friendly shroud unblockable double striking badass. Just play another island and an Auramancer's Guise and throw on at least one other now one drop white and/or green enchantments for game.

I'd have liked it to reduce the cost of targeted abilities as well, but it still has some nice synergies (especially with auras and/or cantrips) nonetheless.
@A3Kitsune: Why would you want to finish by giving him shroud if you can start by giving him hexproof instead? Shielding Plax only costs you one mana and will even net you a card.
Shield of the Oversoul, False Demise or Umbras (e.g. Boar Umbra or Bear Umbra) are a nice choice for that as well, but dependant on format that won't help you that much since the spot removal of choice will usually exile the creature. If you run these though, Pariahmight be a nice choice if you're going to build a deck around this guy. (Further good creatures would then be Argothian Enchantress, Aura Gnarlid and maybe Auratog if you add Rancor or another recurring enchantment (that could be cast for one mana when the ouphe is targeted)). You can also make it unblockable (actually even better) with Unquestioned Authority, which is a cantrip on top of that. Angelic Destiny is also a great choice, i'd probably even play this over Gigantiform since it has Rancors trigger and also does a good job on your other creatures.
Flight of Fancy could be used for card advantage (and evasion). Followed Footsteps is another great combo with this guy. Especially if you have a Pattern of Rebirth in hand, a way to kill the ouphe, and a fat creature in your library...sounds like too many conditions for that to work, but but on the other hand you don't need Followed Footsteps for that trick. But that one, or also cards like False Demise or Fool's Demise are pretty 'win more'-cards with it. (If you have a sac engine, you can also search for Iridescent Drake or Evershrike - which again is nice with Rancor as well.)

FIRST card to target him, Canopy Cover and then go nuts with the auras and equipments. although arguably not as fun to enchant than Aura Gnarlids
So a doomblade towards him would just cost {B}? Now we know why NOBODY PLAYS HIM!

An interesting thing to think about involving that sort of thing: People have already pointed out it's removal bait, so what if you use it in conjunction with Volrath's Shapeshifter?
Then, if they're using that Rite of Replication thing, they can replicate the Shapeshifter for 7 (or less, if you've got cost lowering going). Then discard something useful from your hand (My personal favorite is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed) and watch the fireworks.

Used in an Aura Gnarlid deck it could be pretty fun.

Got it! Strength of the Tajuru!
Turn three: Gigantiform.
