Splinter Twin. Presence of Gond. It's a good card in some formats, but not Standard

Goes infinite in Ghave Commander if you have Presence of Gond on it or something else. Good stuff anyway; it even works in limited due to decent stats.

Because Splinter Twin didn't already have cards to combo with. Hell, I like this even more since it has a few other cards to become attached to.

The ability, the p/t, the art, the name. It all works so well. I love it.

Make more weird Non-vanilla creatures, please.

...Please?

City guard by night, master of elementals and pooper of Elves by day. Nettle Sentinel's boyfriend.

Fiend hunter is still in standard right? - you could get infinite untap for what its worth. Wolfhunter's quiver for infinite damage perhaps?

Commander Review: horrible. Irrelevant power and toughness, no useful abilities, no reason to add this to a commander deck. Well, unless you give him some aura or equipment with a "T: do something useful" such as quicksilver dagger. Still, this is a bad card.

Forget the broken combos...even when used only as intended in Standard, this little guy is a GREAT filler creature. It shrugs off lockdown like the new Niblises, Burden of Guilt, and laughs in the face of cards like Gideon's Lawkeeper. And with his 2/3 stats and semi-vigilance, he's an above-average blocker. Much better than you usually get for 3 CMC.

Not going to make or break most Standard decks, but he's great for rounding one out. I'll find room for him in a couple of mine.

Presence of Gond

Too easy.

It's got two very relevant types, decent p/t, and a couple infinite combos hidden in that hat. Not bad. I'd run him in casual games.

He gets an untap trigger from each creature that enters, correct? I'm thinking of equipping him with a Wolfhunter's Quiver. He should be able to kill every spirit in a casting of Lingering Souls. If I had an Onyx Mage or a Vault of the Archangel active, he would literally prevent my opponent from playing any creature that doesn't have hexproof or invincibility.

That sounds a little too good to be true. Am I right about the interaction with Lingering Souls?

@JimmyNoobPlayer: With careful timing of when you activate the ability from Wolfhunter's Quiver, you would be able to kill any number of creatures that just entered the battlefield.

The obvious choices are Presence of Gond and Elemental Mastery, but what to do with all those tokens? Let's see how many ways we can break the game into billions of tiny, shuddering, weeping pieces.

Soul Sisters will net you arbitrary amounts of life, and that will give Ajani's Pritemate and Ageless Entity ludicrous amounts of +1/+1 counters. If you have a sacrifice outlet and a Rage Thrower you can chuck flaming elf ghosts (great band name) at your opponent's face and laugh maniacally. Goblin Bombardment might be a little more direct, though. Confusion in the Ranks gets hilarious very quickly, especially if you have something like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite- trade all of your opponent's creatures for your tokens, which cease to exist the moment they switch sides. Warp World can put your entire deck out on the battlefield, minus Planeswalkers. Hearthcage Giant gets stupid amounts of huge, as does a first-striking Soulsurge Elemental.

Such a silly, combo-ready card.

Mystic Gate and Captain Sisay or Bloodline Shaman or Fauna Shaman combo. Search up Lavinia of the Tenth, Darien, King of Kjeldor, Enlistment Officer, Wake Thrasher, Mirror-Sigil Sergeant and Preeminent Captain.

That's not counting obvious pest counter artifacts or saprolings, etc. this is keeping in mind a soldier/human theme.

Goblin Lackey if you're playing White/Red, then the Mystic Gate can work for two tribes, with the overlapping soldier one as third. At that point, Moggcatcher makes since.
