Oracle errata:
Creatures you control become Wurmcoil Engines until end of turn
It's great for when you can't decide if you wanna run Wurmy or a titan, you can just run both!

Kaalia of the Vast just cried out in ecstasy. This card's most obvious use is in a Standard WB token deck, sure, but imagine this with a bunch of fatties. Game over, man. Game over!

Wow. Shit, even just Death touch would make this a 5 star land. But Lifelink too? That's just *** over kill!

We welcome you, Orzhov spirits! Let's make tokens a plenty, and may Sorin be with us.

Once upon a time, years ago, there was a guild known as the Orzhov Syndicate. In those days, they were led by a fearsome group, the Ghost Council of Orzhova. This Ghost Council turned out to be the absolute king of combat, taking full advantage of the tricks that came with damage on the stack. Alas, all reigns must come to an end, and so too did that of the Orzhov.

But now, after so many years of lying dormant and patiently waiting, they have seen fit to return and once again dominate the combat step. Behold, their newest weapon of terror.

Yo dog, I heard you liked basilisk collar, so I made it into a land so you can use it every turn!
I am in love with this card. 5/5

Sorin is pretty darn good, but this is the card white black will be built on. How was this not a mythic? we have had mythic land before Eye of Ugin I understand since it only makes colorless mana that can hurt but like The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale you dont count it as land, instead i call it a uncounterable sorcery that cant be played if you played a land that turn

Would have been more precise to call this Basilisk collar factory. Remember when a card was needed for this effect, and it costed 8€?

This is wonderful. This is just so absolutely wonderful. Especially with all of the Black and White tokens running and flying around!

@sonorhC

Yes, sorin created avacyn before he departed from innistrad to go seal the eldrazi on zendikar. When he came back, though, avacyn had vanished and his brethren had begun hunting the humans more and more.

Avacyn as a legendary creature will probably be a fat version of vampire nighthawk.

best of the two lands in the set, will be fun in a Kalia EDH deck, or a b/w token generator.

@sonorhC

Where have YOU been? Sorin created Avacyn to keep the vampires from killing all the humans on Innistrad. (btw, its because his grandfather CREATED vampires. when he did it to Sorin, it ignited his spark)

And Avacyn is gone because she was sealing Griselbrand into the Helvault, and Griselbrand threw his spear at her and knocked her in too.

Certainly one of the better lands along the same vane as Kessig Wolf Run and Gavony Township. (Which are in turn, the previous best two out of however many there are.)

Orzhov Love!!

Basilisk Collars for all!

Also, I'm calling it now...

UNKNOWN NAME (High)
Mythic
Card Type: Maybe Artifact again?
Transform ability which is not that easy to achieve.

AVACYN RETURNED (or maybe RESTORED) (0)
Mythic
Legendary Creature - Vampire Angel
Flying, Lifelink, Deathtouch
13/13

EDIT: No transformers in Avacyn Restored. :( So much for my theory...

Still hoping on part two.

This card scared me.
Not because of what it does, but because of what symbolizes.
I'm not thinking Avacyn's gonna be the savior we're all hoping for. This may be the Eldrazi all over again.

Well, without flying, but you know what I mean. Automatic 5/5 from me.

don't forget, guys, it's 3WhiteBlack to activate it; you have to tap a land to get that effect.

This card went into my WhiteBlack control deck as an afterthought. It's since been one of the stars, especially paired with Hero of Bladehold. Four-of in every deck that runs the colors, unbelievably vicious. 5/5.

It ANNOYS me to no end the foolishness of my friend.

He has the prebuilt GreenBlackWhite EDH deck, and he's looking for material to add.

I, having acquired two of them, said, "I'll trade you one of mine for something of yours".

He replies, "Oh no, that's not a good card for my deck."

I suppose it's his opinion, but I have to question it when he begins playing Darksteel Relic in the deck.

A great way to threaten people too. Put it on field when you have 2WhiteBlack available and a few creatures.
If they decide not to block, just cast something with your 5 instead.

Also amazingly powerful when combined with recurring or otherwise durable creatures, so that getting blocked is not much of a drawback in long run. In my deck Mother of Runes and Doubtless One play a key role when it comes to this card. If I didn't need to activate Mother of Runes or this, follow up with Battletide Alchemist, and they are pretty much on their way to doom. Otherwise just kill their blocker and gain a ton of life.

Instead of my usual attempts at wit, I'd like to provide some analysis for this intriguing megacycle of lands from Innistrad, namely how said lands fit into the overall design of the block.

Analysis: WhiteBlack tends to be good at three things: Draining opponents' life, removing stuff, and sacrificing creatures. The Vault here supports the first two, while multiple cards in the block support the latter. WhiteBlack seems to have a token subtheme in Innistrad, the most notable examples of which being Lingering Souls and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.

WhiteBlack tends to treat its creatures as expendable pawns, whether for combat or for sacrifice. The Vault allows your creatures to trade with even the largest of attackers while healing you in the process, creating a battle of attrition that the opponent may be ill-prepared to cope with.
