One sided wrath on a stick, cooked to perfection. Juicy, and full of flavor.

Combo this on the turn that your suspended Ivory Giant hits the field.

This plus sleep is pretty much WoG on only your opponent. (not counting lands, but if you have 4 or 5 creatures in and your opponent has none, who needs lands?)

This guy and 2 tumble magnets pretty much won me every match they appeared in the prerelease today

I put this under a Clone Shell, my opponent was definitely stunned when my one blocker turned into a board wipe.

No offense, but for 6 cmc I'll just take day of judgement for my control deck. Gideon + this is obviously amazing but I feel it's just gonna be overkill. Sleep isn't gonna make its way to contructed play with all the powerful planeswalkers. By the time this gets out, I should be mostly blown out or took control of the game so it's not gonna matter. The chance of getting both out isn't that great either, I mean how many are you gonna keep those in the deck? Both Sun Titans and Frost Titans are great by itself. I mean this card isn't bad though, except that there's like myriad of other cards I'd rather have in the deck so it won't make top 60 and obviously not as sideboard utility.

It's great angel with nice ability, body and reasonable manacost. It's shame that it won't see much constructed play, thanks to *** wotc and their *** *** powercreep.

Had a lot of fun with this one in Limited, made sure to keep bouncing it back in with Glimmerpoint Stag, and also made a guy really regret his Liege of the Tangle.

4.5/5 This card has the most amazing art, and can kill a lot of things. Not too bad as a creature. Sideboard it for those pesky aggro decks.

Yeah but it's ability doesn't target and is a creature when it's ability activates so Turn Aside wouldn't work...
@greyhour - Turn Aside is cute and all, but it won't counter this card. It doesn't target anything and a EtB effect like "When this enters the battlefield, destroy target tapped creature." is an ability, so the spell itself isn't targeting and Turn Aside still would do nothing.
Ahh, my favourite card from Scars. When Scars came out, I was more pro-enchantment, and still kinda am, so Metalcraft didn't appeal to me. I also didn't want to buy a lot of new Phyrexians for a deck type that was completely new (Infect). But, this card coincided perfectly with my only deck at that time, and I was lucky enough to get one in a booster. That deck fell out of usage for a bit after that, but now that I remade it to 60 cards from its previous state of 96 cards, with little mana, its probably my best deck again.
Just yesterday, it felt awesome to destroy a Primeval Titan and LOTS of Saproling tokens with this card. And today, I drew it when I needed it the most, and when my opponent checked the top card of his deck after he lost, we realized that his Sunblast Angel had just came one turn too late. So thanks, Sunblast Angel, for everything.

"This card hints at a force of light that will come to oppose Phyrexia on Mirrodin, someone who's been missing from the story for a long time: Serra."
One reason for her absence: she's dead.

Very solid fun card! I'm currently building a deck around her:
I love this card with a passion that burns like a blasting sun. There's nothing quite like 2for1ing your opponent, and you can sometimes pull off a 3 or even a 4for1 with this girl. It's also so flavorful and the art is tremendous.
The best part? I just picked up a playset for two bucks. Why aren't people using this?

about the Flavor Text? Chancellor of the Annex says 'umm... no. even Angels are kinda screwed.'
Sad that such a cool, powerful Angel gets shown in a set where being an Angel isn't as good as being an Insect, Zombie, or some other godforsaken half-artifact half-mutant nightmare. 2-power Infect creatures'll kill ya before this is at all relevent.

This thing has saved my hide more times than I can count(including a couple of situations that caused a friend of mine to stop using Ambush Commander) and I love it forever. This was the rare from my first pack of Scars and I couldn't have asked for anything different.
Unfortunately, I can kinda understand why it doesn't see much use in Constructed. It's essentially an extra Day of Judgment that probably isn't hitting your stuff, but the CMC of 6 keeps it down. With Mana Leak floating around, you have to wait an unnerving amount of time to play this safely against blue whereas DoJ can be dropped far quicker. Against fast little red decks, you might not even get to six mana. Running multiple Sunblasts isn't a great idea as it really screws with your mana curve. Running three or four Days can certainly mess that up a bit, but not as badly as a CMC 6 card. And let's not forget that Torpor Orb exists and sees some sideboard action every here and there.
My friend built a Bant turbofog deck, it would just Fog and Mark of Eviction because you had to repeatedly attack or he would get back multiple Fogs, then pull this and kill everyone
A pair of these has found new life in my UW Spirit deck with all their vigilanced tokens from Intangible Virtue and tapping from the Niblis guys and Feeling of Dread. Too bad it's rotating in a few months. It's been a late bloomer for me (never had much use for it until now), but I was glad to have stashed them when I put two and two together.

What are the powers even greater than Phyrexia? They don't seem to have done much...
hmmmm this and Leyline of Anticipation when someone alpha swings at you. Seriously evil and fun.

@LilithSon: That depends on who controls it. Triggered abilities are put on the stack by each player in turn order (and of course they resolve in the opposite order). But if you control the Intruder Alarm, you put those abilities on the stack in the order of your choosing.

But regardless, fantastic card. I use it alongside Sleep and Safe Passage in a funny little Mass Polymorph deck.
You might even put the Mogg on Mimic Vat and have multiple Sunblasts clear the board at your will.
