The one card that comes to my mind when I see this card is Ogre Slumlord which when combined with the first ability creates marvelous amounts of tokens and if you have enough mana can possibly wipe your opponents boards if they aren't running tokens.

I also think this combo will be great in 2-headed giant games because if your ally adds Zamrek Guildmage and any card with persist you can always wipe the board of not only creatures, but all other permanents if Enchanted Evenings or Mycosynth Lattice.

This is pretty much one of the most value-heavy generals around. With mana up, any removal spell aimed towards anything you control will result in the rest of the table losing permanents as well.
And that's before you even start adding cards that work well with it. Undying, Persist, Tokens.
My favorite general from the new set, by a long shot.

The general who makes you say, "Are you sure you're going to destroy that? I might just sacrifice it..."

Oddly enough, this is probably one of the best multiplayer generals printed in this set. Not too expensive, not too weak of a body, in a very expendable tribe, has an in-built situational board"wipe", and doesn't have to be built around.

I thank Wizards a thousand times over for not allowing this to be blue.

I'm sure that someone soon calls it Gang-bang Brothers.

Everything about the card is a hit. Name is useful for puns and references, art is hilarious goblins looking confused, abilities are relevant, colors are strong for ability, costs are cheap... Everything is perfect.

Too bad about Training Grounds, But Heartstone is a thing.

Epochrasite is an interesting idea for a deck headed by this. Keeps coming back, can be sacrificed as a creature or an artifact, and only weakness is the three-turn wait.

So stoked about this card. Such an excellent card for all the previous reason listed, but I'll add that it's a PERFECT goblin tribal general. Finally, I can play all the black and green (i.e.: non-red) goblins in a tribal deck alongside their red cousins WITH a goblin general. HELL. YES.

It's perfect that the art matches the number of abilities (there's another brother in the background) - each one gets rid of a different everything.

SUPER SMASH BROS, WOOO!!!

On a side note, I barely spared this card a glance when it was spoiled, but maybe I finally found my Jund commander? Sorry Sek'Kuar, Kresh and Prossh, the position has probably been filled...

All the token producing creature cards make this general's first ability shine. The other effects are less good. Still, your opponents are simply one rancor away from never seeing an enchantment again. And artifact creature tokens can be sacrificed as artifacts or creatures. A simple nuisance engine or pentavus can be used to great effect in that regard. A truly terrifying general.

Don't forget, Hammer of Purphoros makes tokens that are enchantment artifact creatures!

My respect for these stupid little orcs has been not just raised-

I've outright wholesale chucked out all my (and there was a lot) of derision and undervaluing of them, in favor of high esteem and admiration.
I ran the Grixis Deck against the Esper Deck, and died incredibadly to a Sphinx of the Steel Wind. Looking back on the game, of all 500 cards in the set, if I could slam any card I wanted in my hand or on the battlefield to turn that game around for me,

I would have picked Shattergang Brothers over Control Magic, over Cruel Ultimatum, and over Wrath of God.
Sometimes, you don't need to destroy 3 types of permanents. When you DO need to though, YOU NEED TO BLOW STUFF UP, MAN! For Blowing Stuff Up, nothing reads as great as these two:
They don't target, and they get everything! I feel like I'm reading for the first time now!

Holy Cow I'd pick them over Nevinyrral's Disk ! o.O (Pretend In my scenario that if I were Magically Given a Shattergang Brothers, I would be Magically Given the lands to activate his abilities) I will endeavor to never, ever under-value Removal for the rest of ever. I won't keep this promise, but at least I now know how great a sin it is to forget. o.O

@Top Commentor: Thanks for the Link! I'mma put him in a 5-color Deck with Training Grounds now! :D

A green artificer? Also Violent Ultimatum seems like a pretty nice card with them.

Havoc Festival is quite good with this.

You can have each opponent lose half of his or her life and then sacrifice an enchantment.
