EDH Diamond, I can't see any deck that could go without this.

5 color control with Trading Post and Tenacious Dead to get this thing back? I have said it had to be good, just fun.

It's a Cultivate on legs that any color can play. You just have to pay twice for it. Or recur it with Sun Titan. I'mma gonna go with Sun Titan, at least in Commander.

Fantastic EDH card.
As everyone else has stated.
Could become a staple. Good that it is at uncommon.
Additionally, a 2/2 for is not all bad, either.

Pretty much every EDH deck I have will be happy to run this Explosive Vegetation given life.
Lastly, being an Uncommon makes this *much* cheaper to acquire than its buddy Solemn Simulacrum, especially in foil.

It's like Fertilid, except any color can use it! This .. is so insane. How did this get printed?

The ability is a teensy bit expensive, but hey man. It's two lands from a colorless permanent, for {3} on the turn you crack it. You can even use it to chump and sac it before damage, or in a control deck as something to do with unneeded mana. It also works to shuffle for Scry. So hey, why not.

Should be a mid to high limited pick. Sure, it's just ramp. It's not a bomb, or removal, or an evasive creature.
But what do you get for your turn 3/turn 4 mana investments? *Ramp in any color *Fixing in any color *Card advantage *One turn one-creature Fog (by blocking, and then saccing to ramp)
Combine this with it being in a set with high, strong costs such as Bestow and Monstrosity, and... gah, can't wait to play with it in limited.
Monstrous/Bestow enabler and color fixer in Limited. I'm down.

Surprisingly many Elks in Magic. ^_^

It's a bit weird that this effectively replaces Farseek, which cycles soon...

Awesomelicious standard card.
Like no one else is saying.

Almost likely the best card in set. Helps trigger monstrosity.

Wow, this is an excellent card in limited. Pretty likely to not see standard play, but I guess there's some chance. It ramps you in any color, as well as fixes your mana. Very solid all around.

I'm going to need a few of these. Blah blah blah, commander Blah blah.

Mana Moose is awesome in limited; it ramps and fixes with any colors, and it has a pretty good body on it. It puzzles me how killing a random deer made out of metal retrieves land, though.

I think the {3}'s even him out pretty good, but he seems like he could work in just about any EDH deck, especially 2+ colored ones. Also, this guy with Gift of Immortality is dope.

anyone else think this is ridiculous with Sun Titan

Too expensive. If they came into play untapped or if you could have at least one untapped it would be another story. As it is, if you play it early on, when you mostly need mana-ramp, you're tapping out two turns and losing a creature, that's quite an investment..

I saw this enchanted with Gift of Immortality at the prerelease. Its controller then played Shipbreaker Kraken and monstrositied on the same turn. I then cried.
Yeah. He isn't constructed viable unless the meta suddenly calls for you to play Ranger's Path for an extra two mana but don't let this guy last to his activation cost in casual or limited if you can avoid it.

as pointed out already, this is great in EDH - but, no one has mentioned Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle yet, so boom... BOOM!

Like others have mentioned, he's great with Gift of Immortality. Even on his own though he's pretty great in any sort of Landfall deck. I use him in my Baru, Fist of Krosa EDH deck and he can really bring the pain train when Baloth Woodcrasher is on the field.

Kashi70 - a Vorthos question! I love Vorthos questions.
The way I've been imagining it is that this is a guide sent by the gods to bring you and your people to undiscovered realms, a chosen land if you will. - But this is a deer, a hart, inherently a creature of the wilds, and by bringing you its hidden groves, those places it has found in its wanderings, it sacrifices its power, its numinosity - to fade away into legend and nevermore be seen.

Here's how this would combo with gift of immortality.
turn 3: play this 3 lands, all tapped turn 4: put gift on it, 4 lands, 1 untapped turn 5: sac it, 7 lands, 2 untapped. turn 6: probably you've stopped drawing lands. sac it on your turn, 9 lands, 4 untapped, then sac it on your opponents turn, 11 lands, 1 untapped. if you are actually able to do this, your opponent hasn't been doing much.
