This and the other land search/ramp from this set makes me think: new duel lands in new ravnica? Like real duel lands with both land subtypes, not this Dragonskull Summit type stuff
In most cases I'd rather have the Cultivate, just because turn 4 for ramp feels late. It has its place in mono-green though, especially as a common.

I'm sensing synergy with the shocklands in the upcoming "Return to Ravnica" set, since on any other card, this would read "basic forest card."

Flavor text absolutely should have been:
"Three days and nights pursuit. No food, no rest. No sign of our quarry, but what bare rock can tell!"
Sadly they might get sued if they did it. :P

Meh, I say. Skyshroud Claim is strictly better, because the forests don't come into play tapped. If I wanted to play a 4-mana spell to put 2 lands onto the battlefield tapped, I would rather play Hunting Wilds, as the kicker on that spell can sometimes serve as a finisher.
Furthermore, what's the point of printing a ramp spell that only fetches forests, if nothing else in the set cares about forests (except for Arbor Elf)? Where's the Dungrove Elder? Howl of the Night pack? Something else?
Is WotC seeding stuff that will get better once Return to Ravnica is released?

This is still really strong. A common Explosive Vegetation. If I weren't so anti-shuffling right now, I'd grab a few copies. Back to Mulch and Recross the Paths...

Its like they want to keep all the stupid abilities from the titans without making them a 6/6 creature... Ok to be fair this isn't even comparable to the green titan, but this and the flames of the firebrand are pretty sore replacements. At least they didn't bring back grave titans ability...
This won't ser much play unless they have RtR need lots of forests or something. Come on wizards, useful cards please.

Good in mono green. Turn 4 ramp is kinda pushing it though, in most cases.

This card ramps up my mana nicely and sets me up to play my 7-mana bomb.
