@Sir_Kaeru: I have to agree with you, flavor-wise, I always thought that the same person represented at different points of his or her life on more than one card shouldn't be able to be on the battlefield at the same time as the other card any more than a card with the exact same name. I'm glad they didn't make the same ruling for planeswalkers at least.

@sarroth: Yeah, there was an article about that, I remember. But they mentioned its not always obvious whether the characters could or could not meet. Eg. could white Akroma and red Akroma ever meet each other? And how many MtG players know that Karona, the False god was actually created from Phage and Akroma etc. etc.

@Keiya:

You do the following: use Kamahl's first ability and target an opponent's land. Then use the Goblin Sharpshooter to destroy it. The goblin will be untapped because the 1/1 creature land went to the gy so you just need more to keep turning opponent's lands into creatures and destroy them with the sharpshooter.

small thing, it dosnt say land you controll, it says land, so if you happen to have a leyline of singularity out, thats 2 mana to kill 2 lands, repeatable. i'll take that any day.

@ bijart_dauth - I think you missed the part where Leyline of Singularity says "all nonland permanents..."
Or perhaps you missed where Kamahl specifically says "It's still a land."
I.e., I'm afraid you master plan doesn't work.

Brilliant mono-green EDH general - garunteed overrun on a stick. With only 11 mana you can cast him from zone and overrun once, 16 to do it twice and 21 to do it 3 times. Putting creatures on board and mana ramping - two things green can do best - now becomes your generals win condition. Tucked safely away in your general zone, Kamahl sits pretty until these conditions are met. As soon as you have creatures on board, available mana and a good chance of limited responses you can kill all your opponents at once. That's how green wins games - OVERRUN STYLE!

Great anti-wrath tech in EDH, also with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite out his first ability basically becomes "G: Destroy target land"

Ignoring playability, the fact that he's called the "Fist of Krosa" makes him awesome. The fact that he's Kamahl makes him even cooler. The man can Overrun you when he's like this, and used to Lightning Bolt once a turn, before he met Thriss.

It might not be efficient, but nothing quite beats the fun of killing your opponent's land by tapping Kamahl, Pit Fighter.
Although this is highly disputable, Kamahl could be considered the best Mono-Green EDH general.
I think anyone who's thought about it before knows why, and anyone who hasn't, well, just read every comment pertaining to him.
So, instead of telling you his abilities, I'm just going to give a few situations where Kamahl simply won me the game.
1 - I was playing against a pal who used Nacatl War-Pride and nothing else. I had about 4 support elves (Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary, Priest of Titania, Llanowar Elves and Fyndhorn Elves), and Kamahl. Suffice to say, his plan was to kill my mana acceleration. Well, when he attacked, I tapped Rofellos and made all of my elves 4/4s; just enough to survive the onslaught of the Nacatl.
2 - Different friend, similar situation: I had a lot of support out (about the same as above, add a few others) and Kamahl out. He was using an Animar deck, and Animar was an 14/14 (thanks to Eldrazi Con***ion and 3 other creatures he played) and he played Chain Reaction, so I'd lose on account of Commander Damage. In response, I made enough of his lands creatures, which not only killed his manabase, but Animar as well.
3 - I played Collective Voyage on turn 8, which in truth, was a poor move on my part. Although I had a whopping 21 forests, on my friend's turn (same one), he wiped the board (Disaster Radius), played Animar + Birds of Paradise + Scuttlemutt + Solemn Simulacrum + Wurmcoil Engine + Primeval Titan, all for 20 mana. Well, on my turn, I just played Kamahl, and said, "Nice army you've got. Wanna attack? I've got a hidden army right here" pointing to my lands. He didn't attack.

And then there was Ezuri, and Elf decks everywhere rejoiced.

Kamahl, Fist of Krosa power/toughness= 7
"My mind has changed. My strength has not." I see what you did there WotC...
That reusable overrun and animate land ability really comes in handy!
