This is like seedborn muse. Except that seedborn muse is good, and this is bad. 2/5

The REAL question is if you have two of these active does each trigger individually, for example if I have locus of mana on the field so G doesn't empty from my pool can I tap my manna producing guys after the first one resolves but not the second to have them untapped again by the second for a total of 1-4 untaps during my opponents turn depending on how many are active or is the untap a state based effect of the phase and cannot be responded to.

I so want this to my druid deck.
Edit: Use some mana ramp and use Tidewater Minion to give this the required counters.

i don't get why Thundermare was mentioned instead of Timbermare...
I'm thinking of putting this in with the Heritage Druid / Nettle Sentinel combo

I think it is like a green merrow commerce, which, yes did stack, if it is, eldrazi elves is just cringe
Zendikons + this = untaping lands on opponent's turn.
Also, Zendikons can help activate it - they do still tap for mana!

Do these work Individually? Say like dual Amulet of Vigors, both triggering and going onto the stack for your disposal.
Tap Godsire for Token, QoR procs during opponents untap x2 individually due to 2 copies? Would mean in response to the first untap Tap for token Untap Tap for another token at the end of turn to untap on your turn?

That questing person in the (great) artwork has to be Seeker of Skybreak.

This and Seeker of Skybreak. Use the SOS to untap itself, and repeat for enough counters.

Try running this with Glare of Subdual. Or any creature deck, pseudo vigiliance and you can use the untapped creatures for things like Chord of Calling.

Combined with Shared Discovery, this becomes a card-drawing bomb.

Great in any deck w/ green and tap-abilities

If you really want to break this use this plus Sprout Swarm running saprolings in a multiplayer game

@DChen
No it won't work since no one gets priority during an anyone's untap step even says so in the rulings that having multiple activated quests are redundant.
3/1/2010 Controlling more than one Quest for Renewal with four or more quest counters on it is redundant. You can't untap your permanents more than once in a single untap step.
Cheap, easy to fulfill, and just great in multiplayer games.
I was depressed because I thought of a whole scheme where I would attach a Paradise Mantle to a Leech Bonder and tap/untap infinitely to generate quest tokens and move them to other quests, but then realized that Leech Bonder's ability only works with creatures...

@Notoriety: Add Opalescence to the mix and your combo'll work :P
Anyways, great card. Giving your creatures pseudo-vigilance is pretty much always a good thing and I swear I'll one day build a deck abusing the hell out of this one ^^ A variety of stuff that prevents untapping as normal, like Stoic Angel, Static Orb or my favorite: Storage Matrix should work well with it, letting you pass around their effects without much difference while keeping your opponent on the back foot with only a few untapped permanents while you wreak havoc like nothing's stopping you. Stuff with tap effects, pingers, card-drawers, mana-elves and what not also work wonders with it, as well as stuff that requires you to tap your creatures, like Shared Discovery and Opposition, which both have already been mentioned. And lastly, it also gets better the more players there are, making it beastly in multiplayer ^^

I threw this into the Ezuri deck I built recently. It's everything an elf-playing bastard could ever hope for.
Liege of the Tangle and/or Arachnus Spinner. Nuff said.

Do elf decks really need any more acceleration, Wizards? Do they?

In any deck where this card is good, there will be so many superfluous counters triggering to be placed upon it. I also don't have it like I hate the stupidly insane Seedborn Muse. It doesn't *** itself out to Blue by untapping your land.

Make some of your lands creatures and tap as many as u want for mana. Then they untap on your opponents turn and now you have Big blockers and possibly more mana

Meekstone? Lock down your opponent's large creatures, while still being able to use your own.

Tapper (creatures) from WW: Stoneforge Mystic, Ruin Ghost, Tideforce Elemental, Agadeem Occultist, Scrib Nibblers, Bazaar Trader, Cunning Sparkmage, Arbor Elf, Harabaz Druid, Vastwood Animist, Walking Atlas.
If we expand to standard we get a whole host if interesting stuff such as: Royal Assassin, Elvish Archdruid, Blinding Mage, Prodigal Pyromancer, Jund Battlemage, Rakka Mar, Vithian Stinger and the list goes on...
And those are just from Standard...
It would be sweet to see a red/green ping/ramp deck in standard, with the new Basilist Collar in it for good measure :)
Edit: Use some mana ramp and use Tidewater Minion to give this the required counters.

swing team, flying indestructable guys, pass turn, untap for superrior blocking
