compared to Fighting Chance or its effect in general, that's a cheap and handy card.
you don't have to take great care of your creature's toughnesses unless you're playing against a burn deck or Doran, the Siege Tower.

Nice for goblin decks that focus on a constant offense, especially with things like Goblin Assault.

Looks great on paper, but it doesn't seem to translate. I usually want to draw any other card than this.

This card should be an agression enabler, but you are in danger of stalling for a play when you draw it. Combo this card with Mark of Asylum and your creatures will only be vulnerable to defensive combat damage. As both are two drops it could be a pretty early game advantage. You will still get smashed by a turn 2 Watchwolf but hey, you choose your battles!

Good for goblin decks that doesn't want to lose their Piledrivers.

I absolutely LOVE this card in my exalted deck along with, of course, Wall of Denial for defense and Silent Arbiter to essentially lockdown combat in my favor.. 5/5

Absolutely devastating everytime it was played, yet it somehow remained non-broken.

This would be great for playing against infect. You can attack without weakening your creatures from -1/-1 counters.

This got a new best friend in Grand Abolisher. All your opponent can do then is block and lose creatures or lose life.

@BaneSlayerKirby: Phyrexian Obliterator!
Feel free to touch this, if you wish

This card's ability seems uncharacteristically overpowered until you notice the Storm Crow perched on the gate.

I didn't play a whole lot of Lorwyn, but from looking at cards such as Thoughtseize, Cryptic Command, and this, I get the idea that it had quite a high power level.

That's pretty nasty, for just 2 colorless even little goblin weenies become invincible when attacking.

Is that a Storm Crow on the Gate?

@SwordOfKaldra

Forget playing AGAINST infect decks, put this in your infect deck. You get to swing with all your little guys and they either have to block and have their creatures gimped or let you get that much closer to a poison win.

Very nasty in-set with Nova Chaser.

Use against infect? Priests of Norn disagree. Also, would almost always make sure Deadly Recluse and other deathtouchers get through.

Great card, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was Thorn Elemental, and they still constitute one of my favorite decks.

@literally.mr.right

Probably not. It's just a crow or a raven (probably a raven). There are more crows in these settings than just storm crows.
