A solid control addition to any 'exalted' theme deck.

Well i personally say this card diserves a 4.5 out of 5 since it is a great life saver, and a great stopper against players who plays big creatures or over aboundance of creatures for attacking, all you need is a great line of vigilance in your deck...but its downfall is when you don't play a vigilance deck and you are at a point where your oppent can use this very card against you instead of you intentionally, and i do not mean actually taking controll of the card, i am speaking stopping almost every monster you have, and making sure this card was also tapped in the process...my friend plays a sphinx deck, well mainly, he plays where he prevents attacking and blocking, with cards like pacifism, gwafa, profiteer, recombant bliss, and cards that tap/ untaps creatures....so well this made my decks slightly unable to play, oh did i also mention he gains life no matter what? so imagine this, my feild is filled with exaulted cards, and my hand is running low, i play stoic angel, the next turn, he plays restricting chains or something like that, the card that taps untap cards during untap step, well he played that on stoic angel, so there goes the vigilance, and i pretty much had most of my monsters tapped, pacified, or dead, while he gains life, and plays not one, but two sphinx sovereigns, so not only was he able to deal damage each turn, but he was also able to gain life, just because stoic was out on the feild....

She doesn't play well with multiple Noble Hierarchs and/or Birds of Paradise, especially if the creature you're attacking with doesn't have vigilance. Still a solid card.

This card went from being a mild annoyance to being the most frightening thing on the board after 2010 launched and Sleep showed up. Especially since you can run Stoic Angel, Sleep, and Serra Angel in the same deck for a fairly low cost, and in any format. It's dangerous to play this thing in large games, though, everyone wants to kill it to free up their creatures to go on the offensive.

This is Lightning Angel's sister. They were seperated at birth. Just like that card this is the perfect card to round out a control deck. 4/5

this is a solid angel indeed. things like sleep and the like with stoic angel can be really painful... just thinking of it creeps me out. also, if played with noble hiearch or birds of paradaise or the like she enters the battlefield on turn three.

Rebon Hope can return her from the grave yard back to your hand, or brave the elements and vast of vinewoods ( i think that the correct spelling) can save her from dying.

Yet honor of the pure makes her 4/5 and dauntless escort can sacrifice himself to save her.
5/5 in art, flavor text, body, and ability.

Mwaha! Your Chimney Imps and Storm Crows don't all untap for free anymore!

I saw this card all by its lonesome in the back of someone's car. Wonder what it was doing there?

My favorite Angel. Elegant, beautiful, powerful... but not broken.

Excellent design.

Similar to Lightning Angel, except trading the Red for Green apparently means it loses haste but instead gets an extremely powerful ability that naturally synergizes with itself (thanks to it already having vigilance), and works excellently with its shard's theme.

Yes, it affects both players, but this card allows you to attack by itself and still untap some other creature (noble hierarch, for example).

Vigilance deck anyone? I made a deck out of her and her sister, Lightning Angel, and it has run nothing but smoothly. Little bit of agro in there and you can have both angels out by turn 4.(happens fairly often in my deck) After that, it's all gravy. Just add a few creatures with vigilance of your choice to the deck and you create your own win condition.

Strictly worse than Storm Crow. Bet she wouldn't be so stoic if someone went to work on her.

Not quite Lightning Angel but almost as good, and with appropriately distinct, arguably equivalent flavor, situation depending.
