Green should have no problem flashing in huge creatures between turns. This is what Acidic Slime needs.

This is the closest we will get to giving Green the removal it so desperately needs.

This card is insane.
This is how I saw the card, reading it for the first time.
4 CMC for a 4/4. In green? Sure, why not. It'll compete with Thrun, maybe.
Legendary Elf. Oh. Wow. Legendary? That's a drawback, but an awe-inspiring one. And she's a VERY relevant creature type. That's pretty cool.
Flash. Excuse me? Did you just give my 4/4 Elf Flash? Flash in Green? Wow. Thanks. That's really awesome.
Wait... There's more...? No way.
All your green creature spells have Flash.
...
Excuse the holy living friggen crap out of me?
I'm sorry, but I'm going to love playing her. She's just so awe-inspiringly cool.

Oddly enough, Painter's Servant, Doubling Season, and Paradox Haze don't technically do anything when played with each other despite being probably the most referenced cards in the game overall. Although Paradox Haze and Doubling Season sound rather brutal in a deck with, say, Mycoloth.

Anyway, Yeva. Really looking forward to watching Green players start using the phrase "in response to your end step..." as a lead in to swarms of Thragtusks or whatever.

There's no proof, but she appears to be from Ravnica - based on the trees growing alongside that tower. But if she is from Ravnica, that's two monocolor legends we've seen from that plane in this set, and both have abilities that exclusively help their own color.

They're probably just from Ravnica for flavor, but it'd be cool if this is foreshadowing a breakdown of the guilds.

@Aamot: Actually, if you read Yeva's Forcemage, the "Assistant" card that each of the legendaries get, it IS Ravnica.

Well, how about, you build an elf deck. You get some archdruid. You get access to some absurd amount of mana. You declare attackers, and you attack with some elves.
Untap with Copperhorn Scout.
Tap for some mana.
Flash some Craterhoof Behemoth in.
Get some overkill.

It might even be some fun.

Green's removal has always been big creatures beating up everyone. Green isn't supposed to have direct removal spells, thats how the colour pie works. It would be like white getting counterspells, (and yes i know about Mana Tithe, Rebuff the Wicked, and Dawn Charm but they were from the Times Spiral block. Besides, haven't you ever heard of Beast Within or even Desert Twister? Great card btw

I will definitely make a deck for her. Definitely. Omg Flash is the best ability in the game, haste? Omg no level. Hexproof? Omg Day of Judgment. But Flash, they SURPRISE your enemy. And make all your creatures have flash?? FLASHMAZING!!!

Sweet card in limited, Bond Beetle, Deadly Recluse, Elvish Visionary, Yeva's Forcemage, or just waiting to see if you need mana for anything else, yes she is a bit limited in use but under the right circumstances she's awesome

This was hilariously stupidly overpowered in Sealed, but then again so was my Thundermaw Hellkite so I'll just call this one fun.

Also, aside from the Silverheart this is the best chase rare in recent years.

As awesome as she may come to be, she still doesn't let you play Dryad Arbor with Flash like Teferi does.

I like that green's color pie is branching out, so at least if it's not able to have the best creatures all the time (I wish it did, though), it's able to do more stuff.

This card was severely underrated by me until I continually played -against- it in Limited duels. It definitely holds its own, being a 4/4 for 4cc as well as situational removal (flash being the key), as well as turning all other creatures into removal.

Wow, I'm digging this card.
In an ideal game, she'll be used as an instant removal vs a blocker, an attacker at your turn and adds "flash" to the creatures in your hand (not technically, but you get what I mean).
That's three properties in an ideal setting at four mana. Not to mention that green gets there sooner...and the elven creature type.

I think people forgot to mention the amazing synergy she has with the werewolves from the Innistrad block. Just imagine it, flashing in a Huntmaster of the Fells at the beginning of the other players upkeep, or when your opponent just played two spells after you did nothing durring your turn and you flash in an Immerwolf. The shenanigans possible are just crazy.

I remember the hype before M13 this card was one of the "omfg this will break standard" and "THIS is what green needs; 3-4 of in every green deck" and I smile when I think of how little anyone even mentions it anymore. Of the 5 mono-coloured legends, to me it didn't particularly stand out; it was 3rd, if not 4th in terms of value but 'Flash' got so many people hot and bothered and, pardon the pun, blinded them to how limited this card is. When M13 finally did hit and cards were being played, this became used in less and less decks because it's just TOO narrow and doesn't REALLY help you; sure you can flash in as a combat trick and at end of turn, but if you're leaving 5-6 mana open all the time I'm sure your opponent knows that and the element of surprise is lost. So it sits there, waiting to get killed and only really giving your creatures pseudo-haste. Starting out at around 7-9 dollars this has since plummeted pretty badly (sitting at just under 2.00 right now) whereas Talrand, who is so much better and provides so much value has skyrocketed and is only now plateauing and declining.

But! Selesnya is coming, and even if in effect she is "guildless" I'm sure she can find a home as 2 or maybe 3 of in those decks, although the 4 slot for Selesnya is filling up and is looking very competitive.

I'm interested in how flash affects summoning sickness. Could any of you tell me wether or not flashing it in during an opponent's turn will let me attack in my next turn?

How does Yeva's ability combo with the Selesnya and Golgari gold (G/W or G/B) creatures? Do they count as green too?

She can help out another shaman quite nicely: Shizuko, Caller of Autumn:
Playing Shizuko in your opponent's turn means you'll get the three extra mana at first.

Flash for all creatures gives green fatties what it needs with absurd regularity: haste. Flashing in anything during your opponent's end step protects your guys from Wrath and other wipes, while still giving you the surprise attacking power that they didn't expect to have on your (immediate) next turn.

Works wonders in an Omnath EDH deck- even if he is destroyed on your opponents turn you can use your mana he had stored up to recast him before your mana pool empties. Since all your creatures will be green anyways, it's essentially a 4/4 Vedalken Orrery that can also be flashed out.

@ Raynor1111
Yes, even if a creature is G/W or R/G/B it is still a green creature and it will work with Yeva.

@ Lickmynt_Jr
Yes, if you cast a flash creature at the end of your opponent's turn, it will have summoning sickness for that turn only, and you will be able to attack once your turn begins.

" I see your going to attack me with all your creatures thinking you can win this turn. Would be a shame if I flashed out my Wolfbriar Elemental and kicked it a few times blocking all your creatures leaving me an open attack next turn."

She has insanely funny synergy with Mycoloth in a Saproling deck.

Opponent plays Aggravate or something similar, Flash in Mycoloth atop the stack, Devour all your saprolings.

Instead of destroying your army, your opponent faces a now big and angry Mycoloth, who next turn pops out a new army double the size.

Yeah, it's fun to watch their faces after that.

Hidden Strings can help put her out turn 2 (if your 1 drop gets through for damage). After that she helps you make the most of hidden strings by casting your green fatties at the end of combat step.

It would be nice in a Simic deck. Save all of your mana for one of the high cost counters, and if you don't use one, cast a creature at the end of opponents turn.
Or flash in a strong creature, and give all you evolve creatures +1/+1, after opponents have declared blockers of attackers.

Magic boils down to 'doing things' - the more things we can do the easier life gets. Yeva limits the number of things you can do (or might want to do) by adding some potentially nasty consequences to the list of things to consider.

Your opponent might have drawn three forests in a row and have nothing but land in their hand - but you don't know that when you are busy deciding if you want to attack into untapped mana or not.

Attacking into something flashed in with deathtouch is a great way to lose an expensive creature but watching Yeva flash in a Nacatl War-Pride at the end of your turn when you just swung with everything is a great way to lose a game.

Best combination I can think of in a Simic deck...

Yeva with attached Alpha Authority.. if your opponent plays their strongest card or the card that runs their deck... Flash in Progenitor Mimic, copy their card... then use Prey Upon and target their strongest card and Mimic and if you have a way of having Mimic stronger... Master Biomancer or such... Mimic will be stronger and they're monster will be dead... then next turn, you get a second copy of their monster and you'll totally have screwed them up...

Yes, it does take a lot to pull off.. but I'm sure you'll have ways of having what you need in play and the mana ready for it...

Yeva is so powerful. Shes an absolute house, and the only place i've played her is Modern. She's cute in casual I'm sure, and her flash ability allows for some whacky interactions I'm sure. But I'm telling you. She's a constructed powerhouse. I picked up 2 of her before a Modern tournament, threw her in my deck, and ended up riding her to victory in every game I drew her. So I didn't give her respect till I played her. She's very flexible, which is why she's good. She's removal, being a surprise blocker, or turning your green creatures in your hand into surprise removal spell. But she slips under counters, and lets your other green creatures do it too. She really saved me against counters. 5/5, but im so attached to her that might be a tad biased.

@TheGigiBeast

Depends on your spilt of creatures and non-creatures.

It also depends on whether you would benefit from the non-creatures being played with flash.

The deck list would help give you better advice.
