Fine for limited, bad for constructed. Five mana is simply too much for pinging them for one. And the attack effect? Sometimes it can be great, sometimes it does nothing.

This could be quite fun in Limited. Otherwise, though, there's much better things you could be doing with five mana.
The flavor text, though, is genius.

"You... you monster! That chair's been just like a chair to me!" Limited to Limited, but the prospect of blasting a swarm of tokens is something.

hose the board full of spirit tokens at instant speed in mono red. Slagstorm does a better job but at sorcery speed.

Seems kind of weird that it does 1 AND make them attack, since most utility creatures only need 1 of those effects to die, and this seems to be mostly targeted at them. Still pricey for 5 mana, though.

I'd pay five mana to make my opponent all-in with their creature board on your terms.

I have two things say about this card: 1. Never play it in a 1v1 game, however in EDH, find a foil in your Foreign language. I can see it now, Two players staring each other down, but their friends neither wants to hurt the other one, they would rather work together to beat you and your partner... well it is time to pull a fast one. during an Opponents upkeep hit them with that and watch as they tear each other apart
2. If you for some reason do decide to use this card in Constructed, use it post combat step "If able" are two very powerful words, if you don't want them to attack you, use it after they CANNOT declare attacks?
Whatever you want to say about the playability, the flavour text is one of the best.
The flavour in general is fantastic really. But Avacyn Restored has really delivered on that, so it's less noticeable here.

@Halidir_Orveck: If you don't want your opponent to attack you with everything, then waiting until after combat to cast this won't help you, because in that case, your opponent would have already attacked you with everything. That's a fundamental tenet of game theory: Always assume that your opponent will do what you least want them to.

NO! NOT THE CHAIR!!!!!!!!!!! Surprisingly good in limited, with all the little 2/1s and 3/1s that get played early.

I was playing an opponent during prerelease in which we were deadlocked in a mirror match (RW angels and humans). The board was pretty full with about 6 or 7 creatures on each side and my Terminus hadn't come up yet, so I used this to wipe out a few of the opponent's 1-toughness creatures then finished off a few more of them with first strikers and bigger blockers. I finished him off next turn.
Not sure how useful in constructed, though.

lol! If you look in the background you can see a chair burning off to the left behind the girl.
I keep thinking this only useful as a sideboard against decks where the strategies end in stalemates or against blue/white control to force mana dorks or things like Fiend Hunters or Suture Priest (which would already be dead to this anyway but you get the idea) into a more vulnerable position.
Also, if you have enough mana to back it up with a surprise like Rally the Forces to give your entire crew First Strike you could easily swing this in your advantage.

I like the fact that this hits all of a given player's creatures for 1 each vs all creatures.

I really think the card is worth about 2/5 as it is kinda fun in a quirky way but I gave it an extra star for the flavor text :D

My friend had fun playing this with Death Pits of Rath in casual Cube draft.
This is one lash of the Bullwhip for each of your opponent's creatures.
The attack effect is only good if you have a stronger untapped board. So basically its a limited garbage pile. I am sure this has won a game or two for someone somewhere.

@alphagprime: See Incite War. Also, Rally the Forces only buffs attackers. You must be thinking of Ambush. No, wait...
Have them all run straight into my Earth Servant :)
