Combo enabler! Stampeding Wildebeests is still better though (if more cost-intensive).

I know it's pricy, but this, Eternal Witness, Natural Order, and the chump of your choice can fetch you any creature in your deck ever other turn. I prefer use with Elvish Visionary.

Can't wait to make a Casual deck with this.
Thragtusk, Elvish Visionary, etc.

@Trygon_Predator: Not necessarily, since Stampeding Wildebeests limits you to green creatures, whereas this allows you to bounce any creature. This difference can be made relevant for a creature like Zealous Con***s, for instance.

I used this in the prerelease to great effect, usually with a bond beetle or elvish visionary but once with a thragtusk (and it was glorious!) This is an efficient 4/4 with amazing combo potential with a number of cards in this set, let alone all of those in others. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see this in a W/G flicker deck.

Turn 4 this, turn 5 Thragtusk? That's just filthy..

this card has a lot of potential. Maybe not the most competitive strategy, but it's pretty abusable.

Pretty amazing. Obviously being compared to Stampeding Wildebeests a lot. Ever since I saw Overrun's art, I've tried to find as many Diverse but relevant Green Creature cards so I could eventually have a Jumanji-style board state with all kinds of awesome things to Bungle around in my Jungle. Ever since I was introduced to Commander, I've finally had a format I can actually use this theme for.

Pro-At-Fun Tip: Primadox = Stampeding Wildebeests #2 in Commander. :)

Pro-At-Losing-Friends Tips: And I need a Thragtusk. I need a lot of them.

Two creatures first come to mind, Acidic Slime and Bloodbraid Elf, but the more I think about it the more useful it seems. Combo it with Elvish Visionary for some decent draw, or with Strangleroot Geist to get rid of the +1+1 counters and get its undying ability back. Just gives green a little more flexibility.

I've been using this in DotP13 in Yeva's deck and it is insane. Thragtusk, Bond Beetle, Elvish Visionary, the possibilities of this card's bounce back ability are endless. Definitely worth it to build a deck around.

Also, using this with Wild Pair is just amazing.

Works well with Yeva and creatures whos abilities activate when they come into play.

Works great with Bond Beetle to pump something every turn. Works great with Thragtusk in a lifegain deck and to get board advantage. Works great with Acidic Slime to make your opponent cry.

A 4/4 for 4 with a downside upkeep effect which is situationally abusable. Clearly overcosted. 2/5

Great combo card. Paired with the right creatures this beast is a ....well a beast.

Anyone rating this sweet Beast down is clearly lacking in imagination. So many ways to break this card, it is a combo generator like nobody's business.

Roaring Primadox + Shriekmaw + Acidic Slime = remove any one permanent per round.

Johnny fun, but does green really get bounce?

Balanced and fun. Certainly not overpowered, but solid enough in limited and casual. This is just one of those cards that makes me happy because it encourages a bit of creativity and lets me enjoy the red-zone again. I recently added one to my Peasant Cube, and I expect to see some fun things coming from this dude in draft.

I'm really surprised that this card isn't rated at least 4 stars. Maybe it's not Splinter Twin, but it's quite awesome. In limited, it's practically a bomb. I run 3 of these in a fairly infuriating White & Green Combo Control deck. I love having a vast assortment of 'comes into play' creatures that can make my opponent's life miserable in a variety of different ways. I've found with that deck that my opponents often times just throw in the towel without even taking a single point of damage. It's my 'non-violent' control deck. I don't bother attacking and I tell my opponent "it isn't necesary". Also, I love playing this card, getting scoffed at, and then playing something like Stonehorn Dignitary the following turn and hearing "oooooooooooohhhhhhhh" in a timid voice.

@hot4boys: If you call bouncing an Elvish Visionary every upkeep and playing it back out for a free card every freaking turn "destroying your own board control", then your board control must be very fragile indeed. You're gonna draw so much dang land with those free draws, that paying 2 measly mana for a free card every turn is gonna be the least of your problems. Trust me, I've experienced the devastation of this card, on my side of the board as well as on the other side of the board, and I'd much rather it be the former.

"They're easy enough to find. Question is, are you sure you want to find one?"

This applies to at least 33% of Magic cards. :)

Needs to be given haste by something like Fervor in case this is the only creature you have left so that you can at least swing for four when your opponents removes your ETB creatures.

Really good card, I just play casual but it works fantastically with the plethora of ETB abilities that green has. Big fun with bond beetle

x4 elvish visionary.
x2-3 this guy.
x3-4 acidic slime.

Nice little deck in the making. All green in m13, imagine that.

Really easy to combo without even leaving the set. Bond Beetle, Elvish Visonary, Acidic Ooze, or Thragtusk. The deal can't even go sour on you since you could always just bounce roaring primadox back to your hand if there isn't anything good left.

Im about a month new to magic and i bought a starter deck building kit and 5 booster packs and I pulled this card, Thragtusk foiled, and Elvish Visionary. I read the card and realized that it was awesome and i built a deck around this card. I love it. it would also works well with eternal witness.
