4.5/5 Holy god. Heroes' Reunion gives +7/+7 for 2 cmc. Many more combos after that as well. Lifelink would be fun. Archangel of Thune needed more power?

Build your own Pridemate!
This could have been a nice bestow card. Like this it's just an overpriced enchantment. Yet the set has much worse to offer.

There were a couple times at the prerelease I put this on a Hopeful Eidolon. It was great the one time it worked. The rest of the time it was just a removal magnet.

Tonight at FNM I dropped this on a Fabled Hero already enchanted with a Ordeal of Heliod that fell off when I attacked... 16/16 doublestrike! Was epic.

God as my witness, I *will* get this, Celestial Mantle and Lifelink on a Serra Avatar at the same time. It's going to be the greatest EDH match of all time.

@Ferlord : Mix in an Inquisitor's Flail and anything that gives lifelink in there and you're set.

Sunbond = whenever you gain life, put that many +1/+1 counters on this creature. Fathom Mage = whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed on Fathom Mage, you may draw a card. Horizon Chimera = whenever you draw a card, you gain 1 life.
You forgot an integral piece that would turn your 1/1 into a 55/55 turn 5 instead of a 34/34
How to turn a 1/1 into a 55/55 by turn 5:
Turn 1: Soulmender Turn 2: Daggerdrome imp (1/1) Turn 3: Ordeal of Heliod, attack (1 counter), gain 2 life Turn 4: Sunbond, tap Soulmender (2 counters), attack (3 counters), sacrifice Ordeal of Heliod, gain 10 life (13 counters), gain 14 life (27 counters) Turn 5: Attack, gain 27 life (54 counters)
This card is also an amazing combo in standard (currently) with previously mentioned Fathom mage and Horizon Chimera

Drop this baby on your Living Hive with a Suture Priest in the house. Exponential fun.
Cheaper mana investment than Cradle of Vitality, but less flexible and more vulnerable to creature removal. I think I'd still rather go with the Cradle in most cases. I'll gladly include both in my Treva EDH deck, though (if there's room, that is).

@Shrikesnest, I'll be there that day to play a Cinder Cloud or a kicked Agonizing Demise in response.
