Useful, boosting other creatures is nice, and the last ability lets you pop him for extra health in a pinch. Preferably after blocking with him.

@JackThompson You don't need a sac engine if you have something like Heartless Summoning or Skullclamp. Of course, you'd have to pay for each time you equip the clap, but you're still drawing a bunch of cards anyway.

Not sure why this has a low rating... It's a very Johnny card and a part of the Aluren combo alongside the likes of Cavern Harpy and Wirewood Savage. If you're doing it right, this can be deadly.
5 of 5 all day. Very easy to get infinite life from him at the same time as making him infinitely powerful. For example, use sunbond. Just watch out for agonizing demise!
