four mana would be ridiculous. wrath of god is 4 mana and it destroys only creatures. you're blowing up lands and artifacts too.
it's too expensive to use and it's in the wrong color. Red doesn't want games to last this long.

I hate this version of Obliterate. It's an epic storyline moment and in this version they turned it into a joke. Obliterate is supposed to be an epic representation of Barrin's final spell, not something to laugh at.

This should be played with Planeswalkers. Garruk and Nissa are quite good here - dumping creatures onto the battlefield once the smoke has settled. Jace and Liliana are also fairly good at finding you the right cards to get back into the game.
