Considering the Shard this is in, this can be played earlier than other Ultimatums. As early as turn 5.

AHAHAHAHA! Llanowar elves for the win! Man, the little creatures you use for mana suddenly become beatsticks.

oh how i love this card...even for seven this is a great card considering it's naya. and keeper of progenitus can move this up to turn 5 like said before, among other ways.

Just run overrun's in your deck instead. They're cheaper, hit two turns faster, kills the opponent just the same, and is mono-colored. This may be cool for casual, but it's worthless for anything outside of block.

well, the shards block i think gave out several "overrun" cards. for example, sigil blessing is a mini overrun with its +3/+3 to one creature and +1/+1 to others. titanic does the same thing and i don't think its worth is limited in casual. you can create agressive beatdown deck around this card using (as was said) mana-producing elves as accelerators and finishers as well.

Knotvine mistic, makes the cost 2G, tell me that does not rock, only problem would be an angelsong or holy day

still, my wooly throctors are now 10/9 lifelinkers, tramplers, first strikers

I HATE this card. I used to love it but it upsets my opponents when I use it and gives me no satisfaction at all when I do. I ended up taking it out of the deck it was in so that playing might once again be fun.

@ asinine-ultimatum: What a stupid reason to hate this card, you shouldn't have to stop pounding ppl's faces with this card just b/c they whine like babies. I mean, what game do they think they're playing, Pokemon? lol I'd probably still get satisfaction just from knowing they weren't good enough to survive the "stampede".

I think this card kinda further builds on Overrun, considering even with the power boost from overrun, stuff from say Naya or just plain boosted up creatures could still deal with some of them, even if combat ends in a trade or worse. This ultimatum gives an extra +2/+2 over Overrun, and eliminates the possibilities of a trade-off with the first strike, all the while if your opponent somehow survives and/or still has creatures to attack you with, say if you went all out on them, then with the lifelink, you will most likely have a sizable life advantage to where you can't just get killed off next few turns, all the while trample keeps your opponent from getting away with chump blocking and etc.

This card is the definition of fun. I was on about 2 life once, and ended up on 45 or something insane, and won the game. Great!

Overrun is a great finisher too, but this card is better in two formats:

1: Shards Block Limited (there is no Overrun!)
B: Multiplayer. Destroy one opponent and double or triple your life. Yessir!

Now that's what i call a Timmy card!

Then, on the other hand, this will work even better with many little creatures (such as tokens) rather than a few big fatties.

I played it in my Naya fatties deck and got to 200 life (While my opponent got to -200).

Ok this card is a pain in the @$$ my bro plays with a naya deck an eventually gets this card and overrun in his hand and is able to play them both in one turn and with a kalonian behemoth, enormous baloth, paleoloth AND Molimo-
maro scorcerer (he can get all of them on the field at once) I lose plain and simple so to all you people who play with naya........ GET THIS CARD IT WILL GARANTEE YOU VICTORY and if they survive it who cares you make off with like 30 extra life because of lifelink so you can just pick them off one by one.

This card is the terror of anyone you play against. Best part is that thanks to lifelink, you don't need to fear attacks on you until your next turn (even in a larger game) because lifelink will keep you safe. Awesome card, completely worth seven mana.

Overrun is one of my favorite cards ever because the theme and flavor of it match my play style perfectly. This is a much stronger overrun in my three colors. I'm salivating looking at this thing. The casting cost is a bit extreme, though. Overrun is usually game over...this ultimatum is more like overkill. 4/5

no matter what the situation is during the battle, this card WILL win the game for you.
(unless you don't control any creatures..in which case, why would you use it right?)

Its a very good ultimatum, other than it needs creatures. The pure value of titanic ultimatum vs. other ultimatums is it wins games, because its power increases based on the number of creatures in play. Obviously, mycoloth + titanic ultimatum is an instant game win in most cases. In a situation where there are less creatures in play and it doesn't win the game, the value is the lifelink. You may not kill your opponent, but you regain like 20 life with only a few creatures in play. Unlike the other ultimatums, it's also in a mana accel color, that is likely playing jungle shrines and trace of abundance, making it very easy to pull off around turn 5 or 6. Overrun may be cheaper, but titanic ultimatum is a far better card, if it really matters you can always play with both in one deck or use knotvine mystic and birds of paradise to play it easily, and also turn your flying birds of paradise into 5 power killers. Not to mention naya charm can let you play it from your graveyard repeatedly.

Insane, massive, overkill. I once attacked for over 40 in my naya deck with this. Shove in Cloven Casting and pump up with +10/+10 and lifelink

Assuming you stick the setup, it's only problem with this card is that, in multiplayer, the attacked opponents can scoop and prevent you from gaining the obscene amounts of life. The anti-lifelink spite scoop should be against the rules...

If the opponent has no counterspell up his sleeve, or some way to prevent all damage, such as Angelsong, he is dead, plain and simple. This baby can turn a Wild Nacatl into a beast that puts Godsire to shame. Just tap the enemy creatures in EOT step with a Naya Charm then go wild.
Forest > Wild Nacatl > Plains > Druid of the Anima > Mountain > Knotvine Mystic > Forest > tap everything for mana > Ultimatum and attack with a 8/8 Wild Nacatl with FS, trample and Lifelink in turn 4.

Awesome card.
If you check the background of the art, you'll see Ajani is casting this Ultimatum. He can also be seen casting the 3 Nayan Souls spells (Might, Grace, and Fire). Odd in that one of those is a green card, as is the Ultimatum, while Ajani is not a green planeswalker.

I like how the rules say "multiple instances of first strike and trample are redundant"... twice
VoidedNote
★★★☆☆ (3.0/5.0) (1 vote)
First strike: great on any creature, especially because they will have 5 power minimum
Trample: great on anything with good power, in this case 5 is the minimum
Lifelink: 5 life per creature attacking? DEAL

Together: Overrun just got 1 up'd... no make that 5 up'd

5/5, pretty much a game ender.

Player 1: FOOOOOOOG!

Love this card, but omfg what AWFUL art! Compare this to the art on overrun... wtf is this? 2 cat people growling? Should have been all creatures of the jungle in a cataclysmic frenzy orgy of destruction and ferocity, not 2 cat people that look angry. Shame on the artist.

Tied with Cruel Ultimatum for the best Ultimatum in my opinion.

And I think the card is also something of a perfect representation of the colors used to cast it:
{G}{G}{G} = +3/+3 Trample
{R}{R} = +2/+0 First Strike
{W}{W} = +0/+2 Lifelink

Id say definantly better than cruel ultimatum. Lets look at the stats. First, its easier to pull off cuz youll be laying green. Second, Cruel ultimatum causes opponents to lose a creature, lose five life, and discard three cards. This card will (on average) do more than five damage, kill more than one of their creatures, however they dont discard. On your side of the field, this card makes you gain way more life. So whilst there are fewer effects, the effects it does have are mindblowingly fantastic. I went from 12 life while my opponent had like 42 to me having 59 and him having like four, a situation where a five life drain and one creature wasn't gonna change the game. Its a fantastic card.

I'm loving the rulings on this card.

10/1/2008 The set of creatures affected is fixed as Titanic Ultimatum resolves.
10/1/2008 Multiple instances of first strike and trample are redundant.
10/1/2009 The set of creatures affected is fixed as Titanic Ultimatum resolves.
10/1/2009 If a creature you control already has lifelink, Titanic Ultimatum will give it a second instance of lifelink; however, multiple instances of lifelink are redundant. You still only gain life equal to the amount of damage dealt, regardless of how many instances of lifelink the creature has.

And I'm waiting for the next one.

If someone was attacking you using this in multiplayer, could you concede to prevent their gaining life, or would that be considered poor sportsmanship?
sarroth
★★★★★ (5.0/5.0) (1 vote)
@Guest392185251: Is it okay to concede to prevent your opponent from gaining life? It's best to ask the people you play with that question. I play with a few people who don't see an issue with this, but I would. I definitely consider it poor sportsmanship. Just as I consider it poor sportsmanship to concede so that one opponent doesn't have to attack you to get you out of the game and can attack the other players' instead. But not everyone will agree with that, so just ask what they think.

This card made me regret using Terastodon on my opponent's stuff instead of my own. Having 8/8 first striking, trampling, lifelinking elephants winning the game a few turns later showed me that a few 3/3s aren't what they seem to be when under the control of a Naya player.
