This is a Mix between Urborg Elf and Skyshroud elf...both solid as is this card.

Skyshroud elf is better.

I always think it looks like she's smoking a pipe.

I agree. No one would rather play this than Skyshroud elf unless it is a standard tournament.

I like this with Urborg Elf as mana acceleration in a WhiteBlueBlackRedGreen deck.

I agree, Skyshroud Elf is better than this. A shame they didn't just mechanically reprint it.

She is cleaner text-wise then the Skyshroud Elf, and in as gold-heavy a block as Alara is, Skyshroud Elf makes it too easy to convert mana to get in. I mean, he converts colorless mana!

"Why is this 42 cents, but noble Heirarch is like $14? This card is cheaper, the only differences is no exalted and different mana"

One CMC versus two. That's really important. Also, Hierarch can add power to an attacking creature the same turn it taps for mana.

@Scumbling1: Ah, thank you! I never noticed that it cost less!

Considering all Noble Hierarch can do, this should have cost Green...
