With a couple gardeners, and this card ontop of Progenitus is devestating in casual, better than trans mutter(althought it is a one shot deal) because its an instant not a creature like transmuter that is a huge target in any game, especially in multiplayer casual. 4 mana, this card would be epic...

yes very good card in constructed, especially if you can drop a creature with shroud or protection like progenitus or kalonian behemoth

I agree. Progenitus + this = devastating. a turn 3 Progenitus is possible in more than one way, I see this as the most reliable method.
The green limitation seems stifling at first, but really, if you can pick ANY creature, be honest, you're probably going to be picking a green one.
Maybe not so much that Eldrazi are going to be all up ins soon. But still, most of the good things will be green, and you wouldn't get the legendary Eldrazi bonuses with this anyway.

Watch out for players using Mycosynth Lattice, so far the greatest threat I can see to this card.
Turn 2: swamp, dark ritual, Dramatic Entrance, Progenitus.

@savagebrain89 To be fair, with "proper" acceleration you can have 7+ mana on turn three, all at pauper: Forest - Wild Growth or Utopia Sprawl Forest - 2x Wild Growth or Utopia Sprawl (enchanting the new forest) - you now have 3 open mana, put down another utopia sprawl, wild growth, fertile ground, overgrowth, explore, or nearly any other green card... Forest - You now have 8 mana for 6-8 cards all open on turn 3.
With enough of these enchant lands in the library you can nearly guarantee such a "god draw" like this as well.
All that said, i'm not big on big creatures without trample OR huge costs. This guy is basically only decent because with morph he's not a dead card 80% of the 95% of the time he would've been. Still, many better, cheaper options are out there even at the time of it's printing. All that said, the biggest green creatures you'll ever see are the likes of manaplasm, landfall style baloths, and other "get really fraggin huge if you do stuff" style cards. Because if you do stuff, they get .. really fraggin huge.
quicksilver amulet works at the same speed as this, but is reusable and doesn't restrict your colors.
it does however slow you down on the turn before you get to use it.

why does this have four stars and Fold into Aether only have two? it has a possibility of costing one less AND it's not limited to green.

Random Card Comment
1) Ridiculous (but funny) name that sounds like an Unhinged card ( I'm thinking of comboing this with Emcee.
2) Instant Speed
3) Excellent effect
Need I say more?

@IPreferStormCrow: because Fold into Æther only works efficiently if your opponent has just countered one of your spells (or removed all its targets) while you've got 4 mana available - otherwise you're spending 4+ mana and 3 cards for one creature. Dramatic Entrance is far less situational.

House rule: a creature may only be put onto the battlefield with Dramatic Entrance if it is capable of jumping through a window or performing a slow clap.

1) Forest, Birds of Paradise 2) Plains, Cultivate 3) Forest, End Turn At the end of their turn, cast this and slap Progenitus down as hard as you can.
If you have a device that can play music while you're playing Magic. I suggest you play "Chariots of Fire" (either the original from Vangelis or the Olympics 2012 version will do) Do it slow. Feel it.

I love how this card says "You may put a green creature card from your hand onto the battlefield", just in case you wanted to just pay 5 mana to open up some space in your hand, or something.

Malestorm Wanderer would devastate with this.

@Unknown: no. No it wouldn't, because Cascade does NOT activate from this, because you don't actually cast the spell.
I'm digging a 5 mana Vorinclex.

Dramatic Entrance is nice, but here's something cool you can do with Elvish Piper that is inefficient with Dramatic Entrance. :)
