Biggest nasty ever released (-un card..or is that 2cards) I think. Loxodon Warhammer is the scariest thing I`v ever had look at me.

If nothing else, I toss a Whispersilk Cloak on him and let him go crazy, maybe its just my fault for beginning magic with an old core set green fatty deck, but just seeing that 13/13 in the corner puts a rather sinister smile on my face.

No evasion...makes this card 3.8/5 not 5/5
This guy is sick either way though
just lots of att and nothing else. It's not going to win games on its own (unlike, say, plated slagwurm, which has troll shroud, or silvos, with trample/regen).
It IS fun to say "I swing you for 13" though. Especially if it's morphed. Then it's "I swing you for 2; PSYCH, it's actually for 13!"

Every time I get this thing out it gets hit by a Gloomlance!
I run these with elvish piper so i can get 3 out rather quick if i had something to untap the piper with

If it had trample... Unfortunately, as is it is it falls to easy to removal, and then if does live it just gets chump blocked.

The biggest creature when I started playing. I was a Timmy and always loved going to the gather and sorting by power. This guy was always there to greet me at the top.

So do you pay the upkeep (GG) even if the card is face down as a 2/2 creature?

Fun fact: The German name of this card ("Krosanischer Wolkenkratzer") translates into "Krosan Skyscraper", because "Cloudscraper" happens to be the literal translation of "Skyscraper" in that language.

No one is going to call out Vedalken_Arbiter? T1: Forest, Llanowar Elves T2: Forest, Fyndhorn Elder T3: Forest, =5 Mana (no Elvish Aberation) T4: Forest, =9 Mana (no Krosan Cloudscraper)
@Xeddicus_Xor: No. Morphed creatures are nameless, colorless, creatures with no types or abilities. If not, and I had to pay during my upkeep for a morphed guy, wouldn't that kind of tip off what is hiding under there?
And to the nay-sayers about "lack of evasion", did you play during Scourge block? Morph WAS evasion. It was like a game of gambler's dice or something. Someone have 3 morphed dudes, and mana open. They swing. Who do you block? With what? What nasty are you letting through? What ability will the trigger when they flip? That was a great deal of the design of the set. So basically the chance of letting him pass only to have him flip and hit for 13 dmg WAS his evasion.
Granted his morph cost is high, but as others stated Astral slide could take care of that for a cheap fatty. You wouldn't be able to do this as a surprise like I was saying above, but lets assume you play slide T3, play this guy morphed T4 with mana to cycle a land, T5 you're swinging for 13, and evasion or not that is hard to beat.
3/5. Good in block, good for reanimation/Mimeoplasm counters and such. Has a variety of uses, but sadly, playing him for face value usually is not one of them.

He's missing a T2 Wild Growth.
