I love troll shroud. The problem with regular shroud is that you can't target your own creatures with spells, even when you want or need to. But the trool shroud fixes that annoying problem. As for this card, its spectacular. 8/8's with a cmc of 7 are usually good, but the troll shroud is like icing on the cake (or scales on the wurm really). I do hope that wizards thinks of a name for the troll shroud mechanic in 2010th edition.

It's an 8/8 for seven. In Green. AND it has troll shroud. What is not to like? With green you could get that bad boy in on turn six or five at the earliest, and your opponent can do nothing about it, barring deathtouch or Wrath of God.

This was the finisher in my g/w control deck. It has won me many, many games and everytime i won with it i'd say "you just got slagged." My brother hears it in his nightmares.

This is my personal favorite wurm, and I LOVE wurms. Seven mana for an 8/8 is good anyway, but give him a great ability like opponent shroud and things get real fun.
