Admittedly most of these have limitations or drawbacks or are just plain bad, but every single one of them can target a black creature. There are also many -X/-X cards that do not care in the least who they target, although that will only work if the creature is weak enough. Point being, there are plenty of alternatives in kill spells, even if it is probably best to just run doom blades and go for the throats, with maybe some Grasp of darknesses for the rare black artifact creatures out there.

So the hardest creature in the game to kill would be a WUBRG Snow Artifact Creature- Elf Spirit.

I'm actually surprised about that card. Sure, 5 cmc for creature removal is expensive, but this is possibly one of very few monoblack spells without the nonblack clause.
Edit (Since 11/21/2009): Wow jsttu, that is one exhaustive list! I have to admit those are far more than i remember, then again as you said most of them still have restrictions, and i was focused on the line "Destroy target creature. (Period)", especially on a Common card. I guess we can both agree that this doesn't happen too often, which was pretty much my actual point afterall :P @HuntingDrake: Now i know why this card felt so familiar Oo
