New card for Fish?

In any case, especially in an aura block, a 1-mana unblockable creature is sweet for limited.

My casual merfolks just found a new one drop!

This could go rather wild with ordeals and bestow!
Ordeal turn two means a turn seven kill!

Hard counter to Swarmborn Giant, amusingly enough.

Because all but obsoleting Tormented Soul is exactly what we needed.

Now this, this excites me.

See, this changes things. There was a time where Flying Men was considered OP. Now there's a time where it's not enough and 1Blue was the right price of a 1/1 that can't be blocked. Now we get this guy.

However, a 1/1 flyer and an unblockable 1/1 do two completely different things lategame. The flyer is another chump to be thrown at the incoming horde of dragons, demons, or angels your opponent has conjured up. This guy, however, sneaks past those and gets the last few point of damage

Or maybe even they'll spend the rest of their lives building a navy of people that kill every triton they see.

Remember the Prowl mechanic from Lorwyn?
Because this is the perfect one-drop to activate it.

• Blue Prowl cards: Thieves' Fortune (great topdeck control), Latchkey Faerie (powerful cantrip flyer), Notorious Throng (for a token-generating Time Warp), Knowledge Exploitation (potent sideboard card).
• Black Prowl cards: Auntie's Snitch, Earwig Squad, Stinkdrinker Bandit (which works perfectly with unblockable creatures), Morsel Theft, Noggin Whack.
• Other good two-drop Prowl enablers: Inkfathom Infiltrator, Invisible Stalker.
• Bonus points: Oona's Blackguard for discard, Sygg, River Cutthroat for extra cards.

There's also potential use for Fish and Ninja decks. Although regarding the latter, I feel like we'll get a functional reprint Ninja eventually when we get back to the glorious Ninjutsu mechanic.

Also, am I the only one that finds it unfitting that this card has an assassination flavor text?

Tech for monoblue ninjas, we don't need black for the Tormented Souls

Combine with ordeals and ETB enchantments, then have a Triton Cavalry and a Floodtide Serpent with some constellation guys and you have a pretty effective enchantment aggro blue deck. Stratus walk, Aqueous Form, Fate Foretold, any bestow creature, Ephara's Enlightenment, etc...

Am I really the first to mention Ninjutsu?
