She also works surprisingly well with the God of the same theme and color combination: Phenax, God of Deception.
Both of her creature types should be relevant for tribal uses as well. Especially considering Rogues are exellent in attacking unblocked and/or protecting themselves from spells and abilities.
You can't discard land cards, but it doesn't say you can't fetch them. Lands have a converted mana cost of zero, and so does Astral Cornucopia when it's not on the stack. Is that going to be the best way to fix your mana with the Cornucopia? : )
Split cards like Far & Away can be discarded to tutor up a card with the mana cost of either half. (But not the sum.) "In every zone except the stack, split cards have two sets of characteristics and two converted mana costs. If anything needs information about a split card not on the stack, it will get two values."

Nothing about this ability seems particularly decietful.

why does she have a bunch of returned masks? Is there something I am missing? I know Phenax is associated with the returned and this card is obviously associated with Phenax but the abilitiy and name of the card don't really explain the masks. Whatever... still a pretty good card

@DKJ3654 The three returned masks she has represent the cards from a three-card monte (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-card_Monte). This ties into the fact that she's a Disciple of Deceit; she's a street hustler, and will swap away something you have for equal cost. All in all, great flavour.

This card is kinda nuts. Could almost see it as a rare.

I am psyched that transmute made it into the same standard as it's guild again.

Occasionally Un-set cards inspire ones in real magic (no pun intended). This looks to be a "real-magic" version of Richard Garfield, Ph.D to me. Maybe that's unintended though.

The ability is quite flavorful as you'll always be shifting your hand, forcing your opponent to give up on predicting whats in your hand.
This is a card that could make Dimir decks strong without having to resort to mill+ Centipede.

Use Orb of Dreams with Amulet of Vigor and the new inspired creatures to cause them to trigger immediately, and anytime you flicker them.
Keeps giving me Skatole when what I need is keys and bombs, what gives?

This card is incredible. If you need help untapping it, you can always play a Triton Tactics on it or something similar to that. Just the ability to go through our library though. Let me go ahead and discard this cancel spell for a nightveil specter or agent of the fates. So helpful. This card has won me games already.
Maybe not today, maybe not this month, maybe not next year, but one day someone is going break this in legacy or vintage, I see a toolbox deck with loads of 2cc spells with a combo or two chucked in for good measure.

Ok, first, uncommon. Craziness for one of the most powerful tutors in a while. It's not quite Pod, but damn. Also, 2 cmc with reasonable ease of activation near the turn she comes out (Springleaf and/or defense oriented health that's ~on curve). This, combined with Pod would probably be crazy. Tutor for the Pod, Pod to get her, chain yourself up to crazy win-con. Use her to get lands if you need them (you won't) and use both to toolbox in a response to whatever threats they bring. Load it down with undying or graveyard return (both in these colors) and you can cycle damn near anything in.

EDH Review: It is a little hard to believe the idea that you will keep this girl alive for very long when there is a removal spell waiting in the wings, but think about this. It dodges doom blade and terror effects, you can protect it with counterspells, AND it's 2 mana. If they kill it, who cares, you used a card and they used a card and your card probably costed roughly the same or less.
Now if you get her out there early game you're seriously in business. Serra ascendant has shown that threats that are played early do typically stick around for a few turns before they get destroyed. Attack on turn 3, boom turn 4 you get a free tutor, turn 5 you're two tutors to their none and you're in a good position to try to sweep a game from under the rug if your deck is built right.
She does seem like she needs some kind of inspired mechanism to make it work late game though, after all, 1/3s don't tend to stick around in combat very long. Your best bet is running her in Phenax, God of Deception, because by turn 5 you should be concerned about someone dropping angels, and with Phenax out, you don't even have to interact with the board anymore. It's either that or have an abundance of enablers like Grand Architect.
In your opener: God Hand In the right deck: 4/5 In general: 3/5

It's time for everyone's favorite game find the broken combo with your host Johnny, combo player
Not a bad card if you can find a way to keep untapping it. Pemmin's Aura and Paradise Mantle is the best way. I still think it looks better than it actually is, but it is a build-around card which makes it difficult to rate as of yet.

This card can overwhelm your opponent in the right deck. I had it in a b/u constellation 3x Nyx draft deck, it kept slipping through and I was able to transmute for an enchantment many times to keep the constellation train rolling.

Springleaf Drum, Hidden Strings or even Karametra's Favor are just the first couple of choices for Standard right now.

Mode is right about Phenax, God of Deception. Every Jace, Memory Adept and Consuming Aberration is suddenly an extra copy of Phenax! Extra copies of Jace or Phenax can be transmuted into something useful instead of clogging up your hand.

Blue and Black have any good choices which do not require additional mana:
Arbiter of the Ideal
Daring Thief
Disciple of Deceit
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed
Servant of Tymaret
Siren of the Silent Song
Sphinx's Disciple
Then use Conjurer's Closet to get some bonus uses out of them.
Use Mimic Vat to trigger them on demand.
God dammit, Wizards, why do you trick us?!
Or should I say -glasses on-,
deceive us
