This is just what my standard monowhite enchantment deck was looking for!

This is silly with Elderwood Scion.

If you're playing Elderwood Scion, it's an enchantment deck, which means you're going to get really big creatures for really cheap.

Fantastic card. Keldon Warlord, you have come far.

Hm, if I understand it correctly, it is a 1/1 if it is alone on the field (it remains an enchantment but is not an aura) but should give +2/+2 to the enchanted creature if bestowed, as it is an aura (+1/+1) and you control (at least) one creature, the one that is enchanted (another +1/+1).

pretty fun and cool card with a reasonable bestow cost to boot!

So, played a few games with this and Brimaz, King of Oreskos today and this card gets hilariously large really frequently. Between things like Ethereal Armor, Vanguard of Brimaz and things like Precinct Captain this guy hits double digits in remarkable time. Top it off with sweet art and its a home-run for me.

Nice precursor to Ajani's Choosen and then bunch of chantment shenanigans.

I was considering making a mono white enchantment deck with Ajani's Chosen, Pacifism, Ethereal Armor, and lots of more support and this may very well be the card I was waiting for to convince me of it being viable. I imagine with the right set up this card can get scary quick.

Perhaps the best white bestow creature we've gotten so far. Fantastic, and absolutely amazing art as well.

Sometimes a card is just so gorgeous, so beautiful, so moving in its aesthetic loveliness that I simply have to have it, playability and constructed implications be damned. This is one of those times. I fear removal in Standard is too good for this to make serious waves, but one can hope against hope that, someday, this Eidolon will lead an army to victory in yet another of the countless battles it has faced over the centuries.

I was wondering if they were going to make any cards in set that count the number of enchantments you control. I was not expecting auras but I can definitely live with this.

I love bestow so much - that moment when you are overcome with something - anger, love, jealousy, bravery - it was such an important part of Greek culture and myth. Bestow creatures represent that pathos as having agency - it just all comes alive for me as the spirit of some ancient general rides the body of a new, and gives him - what is this eidalon? - I would tend to say it evokes glory.

Hero of Iroas' partner in the business of giving the opponent the business.

Seems pretty nuts. Like another playset of Ethereal Armor in my Aura deck.
I like and also hate how it's taken an absolute bomb like this for people to realize that Ethereal Armor, Sphere of Safety, Ajani's Chosen, etc. can make a good deck.

Because you can never have enough Ethereal Armor in your deck.

Alone on the field, it's a 1/1. With an Ethereal Armor it's a 4/4. With two it's a 9/9. If it's bestowing something with two Ethereals, that creature gets +10/+10. If the creature you're enchanting is a Kor Spiritdancer, they probably lose. Throw another one in there, or a Auramancer's Guise, or any number of other things and it's just silly.

The best bestow creature printed so far, and in general one the most awesome card design/art combos in the set by a huge margin. Love it, give me 8.

Opened one of these and a foil Archetype of Courage right behind it in the same pack at the pre-release.

Seriously, take both of these side by side and pretend it's like, the Eidolon in front leading the dudes in the art of Archetype of Courage. It's so inspiring, I couldn't not play white in my sealed pool upon witnessing that.

Pulled this and a Hero of Iroas in the prerelease. Didn't do too hot, but I won every game where this guy hit the table, and the hero hit first in half of those games.

Says something. He's good.

Yeah, great with creatures and auras, you guys keep looking at that text...

... and I'll keep looking at that sick art.

I wish more Bestow cards had decent bestow costs like this Spirit or Herald of Torment.
I feel like all Common and Uncommon Bestow cards were exclusively designed for limited...

This Eidolon is super solid, though.
It'll work very smoothly with Tallowisp and tutored Auras (like Ethereal Armor), as well as Kor Spiritdancer - particularly when you can draw a card from casting it as an enchantment.

One of my favorites next to Hero of Iroas, this thing gets ridiculous. I've also tired of saying his whole name and now refer to him as "Battlelon". In the end though Hero of Iroas + Ethereal Armor + This guy = Shenanigans.

I imagine this eidolon saying, "MY LIFE FOR AUIR!!!"

Similar to Nighthowler, in that the bestow cost is "relatively" low and has the potential to make your enchanted creature/this creature quite big (if conditions are met).
There's no doubt that this card's good, since not only it's strong, but it's strong on a deck that revolves around it, thus favorising proper deck-building.

Reading that ability makes me want to try some animation shenanigans to see if I can get him to be both the bestowed aura and a creature at the same time. Maybe Liquimetal Coating and Karn, Silver Golem.

This guy is pure gold in Selesnya Aura - throw this and Unflinching Courage on a Gladecover Scout and an Ethereal Armor equals an absolute monster.

Hugely underrated card - I snatched it up at under $2.00 a piece.

Probably the best Bestow creature other than Boon Satyr.

pack rat for 3.

pack rat dies on turn 2 pretty much all the time.

How much of a chance does this have?

Well... at least it's a bestow.

I really would've preferred +1/+1 for each Enchantment, but I'll take it.

I really like this card, It can get very big, fast and can fit into quite a very different decks e.g aura deck or creature swarm deck. Yes the aura count rather then the enchantment count can be annoying but for the cost, I can certainly live with it. My foil Eidolon is staying in my GW creature buff deck and I am very happy about it

I think this guy is great. He fits right into my U/W enchantment-based heroic deck. My only complaint is that it says "Auras", not "Enchantments". Would that have made him too overpowered? Either way, solid bestow creature with a very reasonable casting cost.
