Ok, so now that he's not the only colorless EDH general they make him possible to obtain? Hmm... Karn or Eldrazi... Oh, and by the way: FIRST!!!

You could use reaper king too for a colorless deck, just like Sygg, River Cutthroat works for mono-black.Karn does beat them all though. xD

This guy is super fun in an all-artifact EDH deck. Just load out on artifacts to draw and make mana, then throw in this bad boy. 5cc artifact to draw 1 card? No problem :D

For all you guys hoping Karn will come back as a Planeswalker in Scars of Mirrodin, I have some bad news for you. Karn died, dudes. He died in the Timespiral block helping to avert the disaster that was the temporal breakdown of all of Dominaria. So didn't all the old planeswalkers Wizards still had kicking around (except Nicol Bolas)... it was Wizards way of cleaning shop before restructuring what a planeswalker was.

Tezzeret will most likely side with phyrexia, with Karn definitely siding with them.
These will be the two phyrexian walkers, and Glissa and another one will be the two Mirran.
Btw sorry but Phyrexia will win the war :)
Btw don't believe me on Karn, look at the new artwork of his corrupted version. Hes got the symbol on his chest and everything.

Shows Tezzeret fending off Phrexian creatures . . implying that Tezzeret is probably with Koth or at least not in favor of Phrexia.
Also, Glissa is printed as legendary creature. It would be quite stupid to print it as a creature and a planeswalker in the same set.
By looking at the artwork Karn probably won't be printed as planeswalker . .
and BTW you shouldn't state idiotic statements that you can't support with evidence.

What with Mirrodin Besieged coming up, poor Arty Shovelhead, as nicknamed by Teferi, is welded onto a throne in the center of Mirrodin, insanely hearing voices and somehow in charge of the phyrexians. He is slightly resisting the corrupting affects of phyrexian oil, so whether he gets redeemed or not probably depends on who wins the war. I bet remembering "Jhoira is my friend" will snap him out of it, as that is something he said to himself every night for centuries.

This page probably has the greatest ratio of totally wrong predictions to posted comments of any card in Magic history.
Also, I find it kind of funny that his -4/+4 triggers when he's blocked or blocks, meaning he apparently has sworn off violence not perpetrated against Planeswalkers.

Rumour has it he will be a planeswalker in New Phyrexia. According to what I've seen online:
Karn, the Saviour or Karn, the Released
+4: Target player exiles a card from his or her hand.
-3: Exile target permanent.
-14: Players begin a new game of Magic. Put all cards exiled with Karn the Saviour onto the battlefield under your control. Whoever wins this game wins the current game.
Starting loyalty: 6
Karn is one of my favourite pieces of the Magic story, and I hope these rumours turn out to be true. The Shahrazad effect makes me rather skeptical, though.

My favorite thing to do with this guy in an EDH deck? turn the lightning greaves my opponent has on their precious general into a creature, making said general naked and exposed to any and all removal spells. yum.

We seem to have a lack of correct assumptions. Let me get this straight for you guys:
Glissa is not a planeswalker. She did, however, come back.
Tezzeret is a planeswalker, and he sided with the bad guys.
Karn has returned as a planeswalker in New Phyrexia. He did not die. He is back. He is called "Karn Liberated". The abilities listed by Chamale are correct, but the last one is worded a bit differently.
-14 Restart the game, leaving in exile all non-Aura permanant cards exiled by Karn Liberated. Then put those cards onto the battlefield under your control.
There you have it. Right from the card. By the way, the autocard link for Karn (planeswalker) will work later, they haven't added the new cards into Gatherer yet.
See http://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/newphyrexia/spoiler# for the visual spoiler of all the new cards in New Phyrexia.

Why don't they reprint the other cool stuff on the reserve list? They obviously consider it more of a suggestion than a rule.

Am I able to turn an equipment into a creature, equip it to another creature and attack with both? Because karn silver golem from the urza set states the artifacts still retain their abilities and this new one doesn't say they lose their abilities, and from my recollection equipment doesn't need to tap with the attacking creature, correct? And since the equipment/new creature has the ability equip to equip but since its a creature as well and does not have to tap with the other attacking creature it is free to attack as well, right?

I always liked how this combo'd so well with Tolarian Academy, being from the same set and all.
Well, without being an a-hole using Mycosynth Lattice, you could always use him as a "Are you sure you want to play Wrath of God? I can turn all of your artifacts into tragedies."
You can also turn the artifact lands into tragedies. In fact, this may be one of the only ways to kill Darksteel Citadel.
I thought his "Turn him into a 0/8 when blocking/blocked" was kind of goofy, but when you're assembling an impressive artifact army, the best thing you could have is a great blocker.

You can turn this guy into his Planeswalker version with the help of his own ability.
- Liquimetal Coating targeting Karn Liberated - Karn, Silver Golem ability targeting the now artifact Karn Liberated - Cytoshape choosing the nonlegendary Karn Liberated and targeting Karn, Silver Golem
and viola, you now have a modernized version of Karn for the turn.

This is the only Legendary Artifact Creature with NO color identity as a Commander.
Per new rulings, Bosh, Iron Golem is red, Memnarch is blue, and of course Sen Triplets and Sharuum, the Hegemon are colored anyway.
It's really a pity the new Colossus of Akros is not Legendary, it would have been the second one.
The comment about Wrath of God is referring to other Non-Creature artifacts
My head-canon for that? Karn is using some very advanced and confusing temporal manipulation.
