This could be a good addition to Bant Pants. Suggested serving with Rancor before it rotates out this fall.

Three oblivion rings? 9002 Cats.

Definitely good with Rancor, although it will also be good with Unflinching Courage. This could be powerful, but probably won't see much play in the end.

It's a shame Spirit Mantle's not in this set, but Madcap Skills and Rancor will work just fine with this.

Otherwise known as the anti-2-for-1.

Make a token army by spamming Flickering Ward.

Isn't this an infinite combo with Enchanted Evening, causing the game to end in a draw unless you have some way of disposing of the Chosen once you have enough cats?

You can't cast an aura unless it has a legal target. This probably won't ever come up, but if you put a Lightning Greaves on Ajani's Chosen, then someone Hexes every other creature on the battlefield, you can't just cast a Rancor and make a cat token.

Strictly better than Nissa's Chosen.

I notice that they are 'apples to oranges' so to speak. But....how BOUT them APPLES?! o_O

This will most certainly make B/W enchantment a viable deck strategy, especially while Sphere of Safety and Ethereal Armor are still Standard.

Could be cool with flickerform.

The flavor text alludes to Journey to Nyx which will feature level-up land cards.

When Young Pyromancer is able to come down twice as fast and generate tokens off two much more used types, I think this card would have a hard time competing...

Also compare Talrand.

Sir Malkin you are indeed right with enchanted evening out all the tokens will enter the battlefield as creature enchantments which would lead to infinite amount of tokens being created which means a draw unless a player can end the loop somehow.

DarthParallax, I don't think you understand what "strictly better" means.

If I was gonna call 'potential sleeper' on something out of M14 it would probably be this. Enchantment creatures, enchantment artifacts, plain old enchantments. Lots of value when they all potentially come with a 2/2 cat.

So what happens when you have multiple chosen's out? Would the enchantment be copied onto all of them or would it just be one specific token that would get it? I mean, the pic deceives me into thinking the prior.

Play this in RW with Hammer of Purphoros, enchantment heavy, and get 2/2 hastys.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Heliod, god of the sun yet. This guy is good for white devotion, Helios gives you a cat when he enters the battlefield. And then with this out you get a 2/2 cat and a 2/1 enchantment cleric for {2}{WW} - which seems pretty decent really. Add populate to the deck and you've got the same for {W} with wake the reflections

Question: if I cast, say, Nylea's Emissary (or any card with the Bestow mechanic), could I attach it even if I did NOT pay the Bestow cost? The card always has the type "Enchantment", after all. My guess is that, if I do NOT pay the Bestow cost, it doesn't gain the sub-type Aura, so the Chosen's ability won't trigger. How does that read to you guys? If I'm wrong, discount Bestowal!

@grinninfoole: You would NOT be able to attach a bestow creature to the cat tokens if you didn't pay the bestow cost. The Emissaries and other bestow creatures only gain the Aura subtype if cast for their bestow cost.

When Born of the Gods comes out, God-Favored General is going to be extremely useful with this, as, when it untaps, you'll be able to get a total of four tokens for only 2White.
