Great art; I think a card with this title could have had very bland, nonde*** art, but David Palumbo took a chance and nailed it.

@TimmyForever (even if you sound more like a SpikeForever on occasion): Remember that many people rate on more than just power level. It would appear that people rating this 3 or more are doing so just because it makes them smile for some reason or other. This game isn't all about the glory of power and victory, is it? How can it be for any player for whom glory isn't enough in ANY milieu?
Card itself: When I saw the art, I thought the homunculus was, rather than lost, making sure it didn't get detected. "Hmmm...Need to make sure they're not about to look down..." Although I don't think Fblthp hates crowds because it's fearful. It's because it can't see past all those people!

If ever there was a card that set the Vorthos' against the Spikes, it would be this card. Fblthp is amongst the cutest characters ever to grace a Magic card, and I sincerely hope that this adorable little guy finds his way to wherever he is headed.

This card is innocuous, until your opponent combos it and Nightveil Specter to just steal all your creatures from you. Including your Nightveil Specter. Sure, it isn't efficient, but it has my respect.

I dunno, I started calling this card Temporarily Misplaced at the pre-release, as the permanent quickly re-appears next turn (most of the time)... Now, if it were to put the permanent on the bottom of the deck... maybe too powerful? But with 5cc I'd expect more... sorry Fblthp!

Actually, this can destroy Indestructibles, since you're just returning this and then putting it in the grave.

The card itself is actually still pretty good for the full five mana. There will be times where you can mill it right off, but keeping it there can be much much stronger! If your opponent is behind and you just need another turn just burn this on their most annoying thing.
You play it for its versatility and of course for how cute it is :)

With these cards that topdeck something, their main use is definitely to cast in response to somebody playing their tutor, because it either shuffles away that permanent (great in EDH for dealing with generals) or they just have to tutor for it back and thus lose the original purpose of the tutor.

There's one reason why this is better than a removal spell or a bounce effect- mill.
You get it to their library and mill.
Not as good as unsummon+discard, but, hey, it's something. This gets around pro-black, high toughness, and anything else that would normally stop removal.
Pretty much draft- only. But then again, drafting mill is... meh.
