This is clearly meant as a Thragtusk hoser but it also seems pretty good without him around. The flavor and art get a solid 5/5 from me.

Combos fairly well with Simic Manipulator. Enchant the manipulator with this to allow for easier to activate Evolve triggers, then move it to an opponent's fatty to take control of it for a cheap cost.

This is perfect with Evolve.
Put it on a Cloudfin Raptor until it get's 7 or 8 +1/+1 counters, then move it to another Evolve creature.
On a Gyre Sage, the +1/+1 counters would still count towards the mana provided, even if it has 0 Power.

This is an exceptionally good card in limited. Anyone that says otherwise hasn't managed to get one in play. It's really good for Simic so you can trigger Evolve on your own guys, or it's really good just as a defensive spell if you're Dimir so you can keep swinging away with your unblockable guys without fear of retalation. Drawing two of these more or less won me the pre-release event in my area.

When i first read this i thought it said that the enchanted creature was returned to its owners hand. Now i truly understand the hype about using this with Evolvers.
I think i'd actually consider playing this in certain gimmick decks in Modern or even Legacy if it was a one-drop only.
