Until Kamigawa, this was the only fox in the game.

It's kind of funny how this is essentially an Amrou Kithkin variant, and both cards were the only member of their tribes for years.

Best animal in the world. Terrible card. That's a dying shame.

Use with Weathervane!
If this was errata'd to be a snow card, I'd be happy.

Should only cost one mana

Cute card. Should have simply been a 1/1 with snow-covered landwalk for 1 mana. Then it would have kept the flavour, been streamlined, and been decent.

5/5, because it's so sad and adorable.

I need to play the German version of these. Their Oracle text would be:
"Creatures can't block Arctic Foxes as long as defending player controls a snow land."
Also, yes, very cute little fox. :) And artist fail - the card is plural, but there is only one...

Cut off the last 9 words in the Oracle Text and he's good.

He's certainly not useless! He's great for convincing your mother that Magic is not a Satanist or dangerously influential game. Remember, he was printed in 1995.
