The perfect answer to those pesky removal spells: a giant, mutant frog that belches magic deterrents.

its art is awesome. It looks like it's bored while being hit by a kamehameha

This is the quintessential green-blue card.

- It's a frog, an amphibian that can survive both in water and on land
- 'Graft' takes the best part of nature (a 3/3 for 3) and tweaks/experiments with it
- Shroud is the one keyword that says green-blue like no others

The best part of this card is that the frog looks utterly bored by the giant death laser next to it.

terrifying in a simic deck. I once burnt 2 izzet charms, 1 lightning bolt and discarded a card to mercurial chemister to kill this guy once.

It's a toss-up between this and Omnibian for favourite frog. Luckily, there is no reason to choose between them when making a deck. Frogling is fantastic. He doesn't look too threatening on his own, but when he starts dishing out shroud to your other creatures, your opponent starts wondering if maybe he should have used some removal when this guy was vulnerable a few turns back. It can also fizzle spells your opponent casts on his own creatures (with appropriate counters) if he didn't read your unassuming little frog carefully. Great flavour, cheap and useful. 5/5

Very similar to ring of evos isle. This seems better for keeping multiple things alive, but the ring has more potential on something like Master Biomancer or Fathom Mage. Then again, this can immediately give them a counter and protect them the instant (pun intended) they come into play. Ultimately this is probably the better play, but the timmy in me really wants the unlimited counters.
