Nice card, nearly impossible to kill permanently.
Fun with Flicker effects, since it is then immediately turned into a 4/4.

Tezzeret the Seeker can play this big as well. A dangerous, annoying, and much-overlooked creature, though Path to Exile kills him dead.

Otherworldly Journey makes him a 5/5 at the end of the turn.

@ Th3_Dark_On3 The flavour is obviously that it is Jesus, as it dies in returns in 3 days, er, turns, except, of course, that I beleive in this card.

Are there any cards from Future Sight that aren't awesome?

Path to Exile kills everything dead, that can be targetted! So does Swords to Plowshares. That's why it should be in a blue deck with Master Transmuter and a few counter-magic spells!

Another reason to play Temporal isolation.

@Mlifunter
It would make him a 2/2. Counters fall off.

Fun creature in a Blink deck. Really cheap for what you get.

@LouisanaxLimey, dude, chill out with the jesus talk, its the gatherer. talk about the cards please.

Anywho. Its fun to have a card that comes back (stronger) but i dont think that its amazingly standout. I do however think it is a fantastic beatstick, especially for two mana.

This guy is good in Esper,Hellbent,Madness, and many other decks. One of the better cards in an already awesome block.

Ok, I can't believe no one here mentioned Aether Vial. That is the cheapest way to use it; have it come out as a 4/4 in the first place.

God, this card is unbelievable in multiplayer. Having recurring bodies is just fantastic.

In response, I will sacrifice it.

Very powerful card. Works by itself as an early chump blocker or sac fodder, but it's even more powerful in a deck that's playing cards from the graveyard or otherwise cheating them into play. For example, he's probably the biggest target for Crypt Champion's ability or an Unearth.

I just drafted this online, then hit random button on the gatherer while waiting for the next pack, and got this. Spooky!

Wicked card this. This is actually one of the few cards that has synergy with both Heartless Summoning and Blood Funnel, although not without disadvantages.

For Heartless Summoning, it costs 0 to play, dies immediately and is immediately put on its suspend timer for a 3/3 that won't die properly

For Blood Funnel, its recurring sacrifice fodder for noncreature spells every third turn, or a 4/4 beater.

And of course it runs even smoother with Paradox Haze, like every other Suspend-related card!

@ LordRandomness: Um, actually Proclamation of Rebirth requires creatures to have a CMC of 1 or less. This has CMC 2. Sorry if that sounded condescending.

Anyway, this is great and all, but I think I'd prefer cheating a Myr Superion into play. Maybe with Prototype Portal, like SwordOfKaldra mentioned.

I know everybody always says "good in EDH" and it gets exasperating, but this was a surprising success in a lightly modified Karador, Ghost Chieftain deck. (I added the various dredge creatures and Splinterfright, figuring it would give me more stuff to cast out of the graveyard without fully committing me to a dredge strategy.)

A 4/4 critter for 2 cast out of the graveyard is nice. It's even nicer when you have creatures that can move +1/+1 counters around in meaningful ways, like Ghave, Guru of Spores.

Would have been so funny if it instead said:

"When Epochrasite dies, exile it.

When Epochrasite is exiled, put three time counters on it and it gains suspend."

No removing ever wheee!
