My prediction is after alara block we'll start seeing these: enchantment creatures!

From the Flavor of the next set "Deadly Perils, Priceless Treasures." I think the next Block, Zendikar, will be either a artifact and Enchantment block like Urza's Block or a pure enchantment themed block. So I can't wait. :)

Is fairly fragile due to being able to be targeted by enchantment and creature removal. interesting combination of types none the less.

Imagine if they made an Enchantment Creature--Human Aura. Actually, I think that would be impossible. I don't even know how this would work.
Really good card in Limited, harder to justify playing over Serra Angel and others. Fun in Enchantment decks.

If you ask me the enchantment type should be a weakness and make it cost only 4, I don't think it's worth the possible combos, there's better enchantments to run if you can tutor enchantments and there are cheaper ones for enchantress.
Run with Replenish. I love the mechanics on these futureshift cards, but I hate the borders with a pasion.

Average power at 3/3 flier for five cmc, and the fact that it dies more often than most creatures definitely outweighs any shenanigans you can do with it for me. Plus, if I wanted to build a deck around enchantment creatures, there's other stuff I'd rather use, like the ones from Urza's that turn into creatures under certain conditions.

It costs more because it's an enchantment? Maybe comparing it to Serra's angel is unfair, but Zendikar's five-drop angel has vigilance and first strike to boot, and is easier to play in multicolor decks.

Only major use I can see for this is as another way to get more card types into the graveyard for use as Tarmogoyf fodder. Same can be said for Dryad Arbor.

The Enchantment type shouldn't be classed as a weakness, it's as much an advantage as a vulnerability. But this should have costed 2WW. Having the Enchantment type can't really justify a creature costing more or less then it would without the Enchantment type.

Took me a second to realize what was going on here. An oddity but might have interesting uses outside of replenish. Makes accadamy rector a prenumbra in a sense. lol, what a waste that would be.

What a rip. I was hoping enchantment creatures would have been a card you could cast as a creature or an aura enchantment to buff another creature. That would be way cooler.

This is really cool. Useful? Probably not, but still cool. I would have charged four for it. There just aren't enough combos for it to be worth that much mana.

Aura's cannot be creatures by a rule standpoint.
When an aura becomes a creature, it can no longer enchant
When an aura is no longer enchanting, it is sacrificed as a state-based effect
thats why licids are the enemy of rules template teams lol

The only possible way to improve this rainbow unicorn would have been to make it an artifact creature (aka robot). Then it would truly have been a flawless victory and such monumentous achievement by R&D that could have never been surpassed.
It's because it's a freaking common people, stop trying to make it an uncommon or rare.
This card is great for sticking on Semblance Anvil in a heavy enchantment deck. In EDH, I usually tutor for it when I draw the Anvil, then stick them together and get Enchantments AND creatures for cheaper.
If you're hard casting this, and using it as a swinger, UR DOIN' IT WRONG. There are far more other ways of using this guy effectively.

It's an enchantment creature. Dudes, it's an... Enchantment. Creature.
I don't wanna really spend time thinking of how that can be useful, but when something is unique... It's worth existing, has a niche and is a good card. Even if it does suck, it does what it does better than anything else because it's the only thing that does what it does.

You know, I'm surprised WotC didn't take this opportunity to make an Enchantment-Land in Line with the Artifact Lands and the single Land-Creature. Eh, oh well.
While I don't care for the excessive cost (3/3 Flying for is still in the realm of common, guys.), it's a fairly useful tool for everything but its basic purpose, I.E. a creature to attack with.

Overcosted and generally useless, but the idea of something being a Creature and an Enchantment is intriguing. It would be even weirder if it was an enchantment that could attack and block (sort of like the Hidden cards). Looking forward to an Enchantment block.

Will this card appear in Theros? No, I don't think it will. Will creature enchantments appear in Theros? This early in the game, I don't want to say 'certainly', but it is a strong contender.
As for the card itself, I think it's perfectly priced for a common. Shame that there isn't really a support structure to help it yet, as anything that messes with enchantments has better things to hit. But if creature enchantments do return in Theros, we'll probably see the rise of a new, and hopefully powerful, archetype or something.

Aaaaand now we have a slew of enchantment creatures coming at us in a month. But their main schtick, aside from the gods, is the new bestow ability, which lets them be cast either as a creature or as a creature aura. Weird but interesting.
In any case I'm doubting that this will be reprinted, not only because this lacks bestow, but also because this seems like they were trying to say "Look, it's an enchantment creature! Isn't that weird!?" when they printed this. It lacks any real purpose other than just being a gimmick, which doesn't fit well in today's block format. That said, I'm fully expecting some common white bestow creature to grant flying and have "lucent" in it's name or something, just as a little homage to this little experiment of sorts.

MaRo: "Oh there'll be a Future Sight reprint in Theros"
Lucent Liminid : *sees enchantment creatures and Bestow* "YES!!!! IT'S MY TIME TO SHINE!!!!"
This creature, unfortunately, doesn't fit Theros, as it's a rather "vanilla" enchantment creature, compared to the ones released in Theros, and it referencens a sun goddess, rather than the sun god of Theros. But I want to say, I actually wanted the setting where this creature is from to have been the first enchantment set. You may disagree with me, but I don't think a Greek Mythology inspired setting screams "enchantment theme!". The design of this creature, and its origin story, are much more interesting to me than those more or less "normal" creatures in Theros that have just been infected by "Nyx", whatever the hell that is.
I, personally, would prefer it if they release a second Enchantment block some time in the future, where not just a few creatures and other permanents are enchantments, but almost all of them, and where "french vanilla" enchantment creatures, such as poor old Lucent Liminid, will finally find a home.

My prediction for the other two sets of Theros: Elspeth has been long wandering and trying to find a home. She has come up against tragedy time and time again on various planes. Here on Theros she will finally find her home. She will ascend to become not only a planeswalker but one of the Therosian gods. She will be the wife of Heliod --- Elspeth, Goddess of the Sun.

@Arachnos: Damn, never noticed that. It does look kind of like Discord now that you mention it.
It would have been cool if WOTC had made Heliod female as a subtle reference to this card. I haven't read much backstory about Theros, but I don't see why this wasn't possible. Another missed opportunity. Too bad.
@the sensei, "Comically bad compared to Celestial Archon"
Umm ... you're comparing a common to a rare. 99% of the time, this is the sort of result you'll get. Sip of Hemlock is worse than Extinguish All Hope. Nullify is worse than Mana Drain. Grizzled Leotau is worse than Fleecemane Lion. There is nothing surprising about these comparisons, and it's rarely appropriate to make them.
