Given white's various sync over enchantments, I'd say this is the best bestow creature in the expansion in both solo and in combo.

Hello, pre-release, I'm playing white (and red).

I feel like bestow outweighs the vulnerability to Naturalize compared to Serra Angel. In the right deck of course.

Bestow IS an excellent mechanic...but the funny thing is, not unlike Kicker cards, you pretty much Really want to set yourself up in Constructed so that you are *definitely using* Bestow. This guy feels pretty great to cast as an Aura, and is an unimpressive uncommon to cast as creature.

I think this is a very good example of what more Rares and Mythics should be like: "When you're doing it right, it's right to do it, but if you put it in the wrong deck or have it at the wrong time, it's a bad card."

Please make more mechanics that have this cost-benefit interaction Wizards. :)

And PLEASE apply it to Rares and Mythics generously!

Pretty solid as a creature by its self and the bestow can make your fatty evasive immediately. One of the better promo cards.

What is it Riding?
I think it a Giant ox but i cant be sure.

@TheHoovedOne. Its probably a Chimera (which is a combination of various animals in one, usually with wings) In this case, an Ox with wings and a tale.

Looks like a flying Water Buffalo to me. Adorable.

Makes me think of Falkor from the Neverending story. It's gets points for that alone.

This actually kills Serra Angel in combat, at the exact same CC.

I'm curious why they made an Archon with bestow - after all Meletis was once ruled by cruel Archon dictators that were then overthrown - did the Archons repent and now bestow their powers of Nyx to mortals in need? Where the people of Meletis wrong? Were those Archons different?

Rating is right where it should be, 3.5. It is a strictly better Serra Angel. First strike is better than vigilance and the ability to bestow is gravy.
