If you were able to play this spell multiple times in a turn , would you get multiple extra turns?

This or any extra turn card imprinted on a panoptic mirror will make you win instantly

Not as good as Time Warp... but the art is awesome.

Spoonish and littlebeast, combine your ideas. Azusa, lost but seeking and crucible of worlds. If no one can answer it it's basicly game. Less damaging than fastbond and thus, you can do it forever. One more thing, don't play that deck on me.

the art is a reference to time walk

I give this card a 4.5 completely and only on flavor. This card is THE tribute to Time Walk, and the art is just amazing! It has a dark feel to it. Definitely a Nostalgic card for those of us who were around in the early years. I was 8 but I was around!

That art is cool. I got this card for that reason alone.

A very flavorful and interesting alternative to the ever-reliable Time Warp. Has some good synergy with Gauntlet of Power and Extraplanar Lens with their ability to allow you to sacrifice the three Islands you tapped to cast it.

This is a blue EDH staple, if you ask me. In a format where games tend to run longer and mana is plentiful, the buyback cost is quite manageable, and the ability to re-use ANYTHING in EDH is welcomed, since everything is a one-of. 5/5 for playability, flavor, and some really fine-looking artwork.

love the surrealist artwork. I mean, its Magic so everything is surrealist in a way, but this is different.

I like this better than Time Warp

KirbyGuy, you would take as many turns as you cast this spell.

Also, imagine this with instead of buyback, flashback, but same cost.

Not "Walk the Æons"?

The art is amazing. The card, powerful. However, I don't think it needed to get printed. Extra turns are powerful enough, but to give the card a way to get it back on the card itself, like on this and Beacon of Tomorrows is just excessive. But that's because players like GracefulInferno claim it's an EDH staple, and when I'm playing against 4 other players and it takes forever for it to be my turn again, the last thing I really want to do is watch you slow-play a few more turns in the process. I've yet to see a player in EDH take extra or even infinite turns and do anything worth watching during those turns; even victories from those extra turns are boring and hollow.

This will be my extra turn taker of choice in a deck running Omniscience. =D

"Let's do the Time warp again"

Also Life from the Loam

It's a shame that all "you may play additional land" effects are green. Otherwise, a Mono-Blue EDH deck would be amazing with this.

You'd have to use BlueGreen or anything else with those two colours. Perhaps Edric or Maelstrom Wanderer as your general? This can be bought back when it gets cascaded...

One way or another, it's a solid Extra Turn spell that is just 1 more than Time Warp, and when it comes to EDH, having almost a second, possibly better Time Warp is always great. Just sacrifice those islands responsibly.

Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Time Walk in both ability and art.

A devastating card if used properly, and solid on its own - and the artwork is a dark tribute to Time Walk. What more can a Magic player want?

"Hey! Johnny, let's remake Time Walk!"
"Cool! What's the art?"
"Umm... Aha! We'll make the 3 meat clad skeletons push a giant axe from the sky with moons at the side! "
"Cool! But how are we going to balance the card?"
"(Evil Laughter) I know just the trick..."

The ability to buyback this is worth the extra 1 colourless over Time Warp in my opinion. At least for EDH.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking
Life from the Loam.
8 mana + this.

= Infinite turns, which your dredging your life from the loam out so you dont see any new cards in hand, but your yard fills up. I am sure a win can come out of that somewhere.

I practically cried at this art, just because it is exactly right.

They managed to take the finesse and meticulous detail that is employed in modern magic card art and still preserve the style and feel of old classics. They conveyed the theme of the card so perfectly, in such a way that it referenced an amazing and iconic card while, itself, becoming iconic to the whole set.

The fantastic art also fits beautifully with both the name, which was excellent in itself, and the function. It managed to also convey how monumentally powerful something as mundane sounding as taking an extra turn is. Conveying it as something cosmic in scope is just right flavor-wise.

Function-wise, it managed to fit very well with the flavor of the set (the whole block, really) buyback being second only to suspend in my mind as iconic Time Spiral mechanics. It says a lot that you can triple the cost of Time Walk and still have it be absurdly powerful.

Guys... the art depicts the time-skeletons from Time Walk. They're not pushing an axe... they're trying to stop a giant pendulum! Really cool art, though a bit off, flavourwise. Really they should be operating the pendulum.

Dammit, meaty skeletons! We told you not to give those johnies two extra turns! Time walk, and now THIS?
