good with the cheap and efficient storm crow

I find it works best in a deck built around abusing "enters the battlefield" effects and with an instant speed usable sacrifice outlet. Duplicant is brutal in this case.

Awesome art, great for a Angel deck, they must be serra angels, not to mention the card works with prety much any swarm, weenie, etc build. not unlike verdant succession.

This card is way underrated. As long as your deck has a few copies of each creature your using, which most do anyways, than this is useful. 4/5

This, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, and something that let's you sacrifice a creature would form an infinite turn engine. Bloodthorn Taunter or something similar would allow you to attack with Emrakul each turn, too.

@ mrredhatter:

Darksteel Colossus couldn't fish himself because he would never trigger this enchantment. His own last ability is a replacement effect that prevents him from going to graveyards. From anywhere.

This and Guiding Spirit go so well together. Of course I have Worship in that deck too.

This card works incredibly well with creatures that you sacrifice to gain something like Daring Apprentice as well as creatures sacrificed for Fling-like effects. It also works well with cards that have "enter the battlefield" effects, like Malakir Bloodwitch.

Verdant Succession is better anyway. If Verdant Succession is out it pretty much means you win. Unlike this card, it just puts to your hand. What are you going to do with it? Wait another turn to bring it out? Too slow. It's still not a bad card, just not as epic game winning as Verdant Succession.

You can use this in Commander, if you want to shuffle your deck every time a creature dies... It's pretty boring actually.

I love cards like this, works perfectly well in any deck (that uses creatures), but can really be capitalized on by utilizing cards that have "enters the battlefield" abilities. Imagine running this with evoke creatures, Mulldrifter, Shriekmaw, etc...
Easily splashable, but also good to keep card advantage to monowhite.

Just built a White / Black / Blue Sliver Sacrifice deck with these in it.

Also using Pulmonic Sliver & Necrotic Sliver

After finding this card i have to agree with a lot of other peoples comments about being under-rated. The only decks i can see these would be no good in are Commander and Creatureless Decks. 5/5 when put in the right deck.

Pure sweetness with Remembrance and Elvish Piper.

@Blindthrall: Good fix for the minor detail of creatures to the GY. Thanks!

Perfectly usable in Commander if you have something like Mistveil Plains to respond to the trigger with, making it similar to a less restricted Enduring Renewal

@Trygon: It's a may :)

Combo with Deathrender.

Relentless Rats + Aether Flash + Aluren + Living Death is about the most ridiculous and unusable combo I can come up with for this card.

Aether Flash has to come out first, then just keep playing rats until you search up all of them and then living death the field into ratland.

Shrug.

This + Serra Avatar + Proper Burial/Trostani/similar + Some kind of repeatable Metamorphosis or free creature-casting and a sac outlet...
A little convoluted, but you'd get a lot of life!
This card is pretty awesome no matter which way you look at it, but it's absolutely absurd with creatures that re-shuffle themselves. It's even usable in EDH with self re-shuffling creatures or instant-speed "put card from graveyard on bottom of library" effects.

>Get this out,
>A permanent 15 mana source (Urza/Locus lands maybe?)
>An Emrakul on the field and one in your hand.
>Attack with your free turn and cast your new Emrakul, putting the old one in your discard pile.
>Put this effect on the stack first, then Emrakuls.
>Emrakul is now in your library, search him out with Remembrance.
>Proceed to recast your recycled Emrakuls in your multiplayer play group and win!
>Lose your friends!
>?????
>Profit!
