Didn't expect to see this is Masters, but a good choice. I love this little guy. A skill-tester card IMO, as it's easy for someone to discount the card advantage in the wake of a 2/2 Flyer for 5 when they're new. They could be a 5/5 flyer with another ability potentially! Just look at Bloodgift Demon!1!

But.. they know not how important those cards are, nor flicker/bounce shinanigans, nor that this guy is both a t3 and t5 play. T6 with ghostly flicker.

Fantastic card advantage that can be abused, reused, and really take the game away in the midst of drawing a slew of control cards. Excellent excellent card.

Hello there you ridiculously cool fish. You're like the blue version of my good buddy Krosan Tusker, who's kinda like the green version of Divination. Now I don't wanna say that you're a bit weird in that you're just plain better than something I've grown to consider the basis of drawing spells. I mean, you are after all a creature, which could in some ways be relevant. You do also have the ability to stick around if people just put that little bit extra in.

But y'know... You're not a sorcery.

I just love how this got reprinted in Modern Masters with Sword of Fire And Ice. At uncommon, no less! even as a vanilla 2/2 flier my friends kill my happy fish as fast as possible because they know what they can do with a sword.

Pretty much obsoletes divination.

My dream is to evoke this turn 3 after a turn 2 angelic renewal. Although if I went second or didnt have a 1 drop turn 1, I would probably have to discard (7 starting cards + 2 draws - 3 lands - 3 played cards + 4 cards from mulldrifter = 7 cards in hand at the end of turn 3).

After some thought, I've found my 1 drop for that combo. Cloudfin raptor. Would be a 2/3 on turn 3 after the mulldrifter.
