So, this can be used to great effect for the new Eldrazi. Simply get enough to play one of the smaller ones, then metamorphosis it into one of the bigger ones using the mana from this and your regular mana.

I quite like this card. use this on a big beastie with High mana cost, summon a load of cheap 1 or 2 mana creatures, then pop an Overrun or two.

Crap. I was thinking Draco+Fireball until I saw the last part. My local game store has a whole bunch of these in various languages.

I can't believe they didn't put some Kafka flavor text on this card.

"il-Kabil awoke one morning transformed into a monstrous baloth..."

I can see this being used with something with a high casting cost you can sneak into play, like Scornful Egotist, or with something big that's going to die anyways, like Blastoderm. Maybe with something that you want to die, like Protean Hulk.

The problem is that you have to already have Draco in play. So you either had a lot of mana already available to you, or some means to cheat a big creature into play. In either case, why not just stick with the fattie you want to keep?

This card wants a rather useless card, with a high converted mana cost, that cheats itself into play, to be properly utilized. Sounds like a job for Scornful Egotist! You could build 8 Energy Tap.dec.

This plus Worldspine Wurm has the potential to be a lot of fun. Bam! Eleven green mana with which to cast whatever you want, AND you still have three 5/5 tramplers. Better still is to do this in a Hero deck, with Worldspine Wurm as your Hero - Cast it one turn, sac it to Metamorphosis the following turn and for the cost of one tapped land, you can replay it immediately. Three 5/5 tramplers, and a nice, horrific 15/15.

Coincidentally, a Hero deck built around powering out Worldspine Wurm as fast as possible is the only one in which I've ever found use for Boundless Realms.
