Powerful, but restrictive. Let's be fair, this is no Intuition, but it's still very playable. 4,5/5.

I gotta say, oatusmcflee, if you showed me those, I would probally glare at you for a minute or 2, before choosing the hexmage and dark depths, then when you pop the combo, path that annoying 20/20 indestructable flyer
definatly a way to put together a combo with devestating results

Anybody have any interesting card choices with blue + one other color? For example, what kind of cards could I pick if I only played blue and white that would make my opponent as uncomfortable as the cards oatusmcflee picked?
I really love this card in my deck. What I always try to get with this card and gives me an automatic win or almost is Voltaic Key, Time Vault, Yawgmoth's Will and Regrowth... my opponents really LOVE me when I get out those at the end of their turn :p If I play otherwise, it's because I already have one of those in my hand. This card is really broken, but in specific decks.
The fact that this is an instant makes it amazing. Play this bad boy at the end of someones turn, then enjoy your hand-picked cards with a full mana pool on your turn.
@Eric. Obviously give them Wrath + Sword. You fail at making piles.

This is probably my favorite card in the entire game. It has it all:
*It's a tutor.
*It's card advantage.
*It's an instant.
*It takes some amount of thought and deck construction to use properly.
*It has fantastic artwork.
The deep, lush blues are almost hypnotic, and they set a perfect tone with the sort of cold and pensive expression of the moonfolk pictured. The little bottles she has somehow reminds me of the painting Six Persimmons.

@oatusmcflee To be fair, someone had a comment that it would make most sense to put depths and hexmage into the graveyard so you have to "work" for the combo. Further, it's worth noting that you're now casting at least two spells and spending 4+ mana, making it easier to counter as well. I can't find the comment at this point, but you get the idea. Sure you get your combo "no matter what" but there are best splits.

Amazing card. Very close to being overpowered. 5/5.
This card is turning into an absolute POWERHOUSE in Modern. Aside from the obvious Iona/Unburial Rites combo, finding Eternal Witness, Noxious Revival and a two card combo such as Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker / Splinter Twin and Pestermite / Deceiver Exarch within a 4-colour control shell is pretty scary. Also, this has been integral in powering out T4/5 kills with my Heartbeat of Spring deck...

One of the best tutoring cards. Only has one problem though: WTF is the flavor behind this? You give four gifts to your opponent and he sends two of them back?? How does that require blue mana?

An awesome card that can really put your opponent(s) in a tough spot. The art reminds me of World of Warcraft, though. The Draenei women. Being so blue and all
@oatusmcflee I wouldn't say that pile is necessarily hard to split. Either, I give you an instant combo. I give you a way of getting the combo up from your graveyard fast. OR I make you pay 2 mana to retrieve the cards instead. May give you the combo no matter what I pick - But I'd rather slow you down than give you it instantly.

Could someone please explain the ruling that you can say that you "can't find 2 more cards with unique names"
If someone gifted and only picks 2, isn't that saying that the rest of the deck is comprised of only 2 other cards, thus not being a tournament legal deck? I know that you don't have to reveal your deck to your opponent, but couldn't the opponent then call a judge saying "this guy doesn't have a tournament legal deck, if he can only pick 2 unique card names?" The judge can look at the deck and confirm that its a legal deck, thus making the "i cant find 2 more cards" impossible?

I absolutely love incredibly modular cards like this!
Thopter foundry
Sword of the meek
Academy Ruins
Wrath of God
Good luck.
