in a deck full of self discard, maybe they could have replaced this with a sign in blood or something..

lawlz called it. Thought they might have included a few other things too, but this was so guaranteed I should have bet money on it. On top of the usual advantages, this is not so strong or rare a card that it would upset the balance they seem to try to impose on pre-boxed products. You want to be able to start guessing spoilers for these things accurately? Try guessing the commons. You'll have better luck with those than the rares.

Prob a dumb question, if you have 2 of this card in play & you discard 2 cards, how many zombies do you get?

@MikeC: You only get one. But if you want it to be more fun... don't forget about cards with MADNESS!

@flechetteXXX: You are wrong. You are confusing activated and triggered abillities. A activated abillity is writen as (cost):(effect), like on Llanowar Elves. A triggered abillity is writen as "when (thing a happens) (thing b happens)", like on the Demon's Horn you mentioned.
If you had two Llanowar Elves in play could you tap each for two mana? No, you couldn't.
Has great synergy with Gravecrawler . Discard the crawler from your hand, then bring it back with the tokens acting as the necessary zombies for the crawlers ability to work.
Hahaha, I signed in today to say Forced Fruition. Then I saw fencediddy's comment and had to rate him 5 stars. Good show!
You'd need to Donate the enchantment for it to work first though.

I like this card, I think. But I have a question about it. since its written as cost: effect then discarding the two cards would place this ability on the stack. Then the ability resolves correct? So if I discard to cards and my opponent destroys Zombie infestation like with relic crush, then the ability no longer resolves. Then I'm out two tokens and two cards.
@dwherr: Abilities don't care about the permanent that originated them (unless they say so). If they did, they couldn't sacrifice as a cost. Even if the permanent is destroyed, the ability isn't countered.

Nobody mentioned Madness? Seriously? OK. With Dark Withering and Fiery Temper and this out already, you can burn something for three damage, destroy one of their creatures, and spawn a 2/2 Zombie for the low, low price of . Compare that to Terminate. You do lose card advantage pretty quickly doing that, but you can also completely turn a game around very quickly.

@RunedServitor Actually you don't lose card advantage if you do it right. With your scenario, you would have gotten a 2/2, and potentially killed 2 creatures at the cost of 2 cards. You actually gained there (or went even if you count this card too). You don't lose card advantage, but you burn your hand out very quickly leaving you with top-decks.
@Ulixes_Pyr This is not that useful in dredge. Dredge uses cards more like breakthrough and bazaar of baghdad to get multiple dredge triggers and then to just dump the cards back in the graveyard. This is a tool for activating madness, hellbent, and reanimation.

situational and requires a deck to be built around it, but when used correctly it's very powerful.
I like to use this to empty my hand at the end of my opponent's turn, then on my next draw step get more cards with Blood Scrivener. It's a fantastic way to dump unnecessary swamps in the late game, or to fill your gy for nefarious purposes.
Discard Wonder and Anger, swing in with a Bampf'd flying zombie.

grixis deck this + enter the infinite + anger in the graveyard with a mountain in play or fervor = painful (barring they don't have mass removal, like evacuation)

Ghoulcaller's Chant can also work well with this.
I can feel the power.
Tamio's ultimate with everything.
You'd need to Donate the enchantment for it to work first though.
Golgari grave-troll Dakmor Salvage Golgari Thug Life from the Loam. I'm going to be running 4 of these in my dredge reanimator deck.

Forget Dredge
Forget Madnes
Forget Vengevine
Forget Forced Fruition and Reanimator
The real combo is 52 land, 4 of these and 4 Treasure Hunt
