the opposite of Tibalt-Flavor -_- he likes to make the pain last, not just kill outright. :P

way to make people buy products for singles instead of Flavor, Wizards. :P Kinda much

I wonder how many Spikes who cast Terminates with this set symbol will ever even know or care who Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded was because he's so damn bad xD

Why is this common? WHY HAS THIS ALWAYS BEEN COMMON?!

This outright kills all creatures in the game except for 159, not including those who can give themselves protective abilities to dodge this. That's pretty insane for a common.

I remember getting my final fourth copy of this for my deck as my happiest moment in MTG.

Deserves no less than a 5/5

Anything without hexproof, shroud, indestructible, protection from red/black, or means of self bouncing is going to be blown up by this 2 mana common instant.

My best friend and rival thought he was pretty clever when he shelled out all his money for playsets of Lotleth Troll, Varolz, the Scar-Striped, and Death's Shadow. He decided to test out his combo against my new red/black budget exalted deck.

Friend: "Ahaha, turn 5, and I have a 15/14 trampler with regenerate. And now I'll put an Alpha Authority on him to make him hexproof. What do you have to say to that?"

Me: "In response to Alpha Authority...I terminate it."

Friend: "Big deal I'll just regen it-"

Me: "Read the card Sean."

Friend: (reads card) "...no...NO!...AAAAAHHHHHH!" (flips table)

This has got to be my favorite removal card. It's cheap. it's efficient. 5/5.

Dear god, this card is broken. AND IT'S A COMMON?! 5/5 in the same way Baneslayer Angel is a 5/5. Ridiculously makes nearly all other removal look like garbage. I fear the era where all removal is held to this thing's standard.

It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

I love how this is the best removal spell ever.
And I, a poor boy with barely any time for Magic,
HAVE 3 COPIES.
I feel so honored to own 3 copies of the highest-rated common card in existence.

Heh, I put 3/4 of a playset of these in the first deck I ever made, back when I was new to the game almost 4 1/2 years ago... and soon got more. Now I have 7 copies of this card, for some reason....

RedBlack to destroy a creature - and said creature can not be regenerated... at COMMON too. Simply great. :D

Strictly better than Murder

Found Terminate. Goodbye forever Doom Blade.

This card is solid. It does not obsolete Murder (Hero's Downfall did that), Terror, or Doom Blade. In case you forgot, you have to have two colors to put this in your deck.

Red and black are the two most destructive colors in magic, particularly at destroying creatures, and particularly for minimal mana cost. (White has creature removal, but aside from the early-early stuff like Swords to Plowshares, white pays a premium for the privilege)

So... a 2CMC red/black removal spell that just plain works?
Yeah, that seems fair to me.

... Pity I almost never play red. I'll stick with Doom Blade for now.
