Hey, Zoah, I can see where you're coming from. But the fact of the matter is white and green both the colors that have the most significant creature threats (not to mention black's enemies on the color wheel- yay flavor!).
Does this card belong in your main deck? Probably not, but for one black mana you ought to seriously consider putting this "crap" into your sideboard.
Or how about one black mana to take out Palace Guards opening up the opportunity for you to attack? Or the absurdly difficult to kill in combat Protean Hydra?
I would rather like a cmc3 card that's common and a cantrip. Would be better in pauper star and the mana cost would still be quite ok to kill a Baneslayer or Primeval Titan.

Ugh, I hate this card. My friend plays a black/white deck, and knowing I play green/white, he stacks his deck withdeathmark,unmake,terror,doom blade.... So many removal cards. It's painful to try and deal with.

Most definitely sideboard material, but I would rather just have go for the throat, doom blade, or ultimate price. Also I don't think it is quite as good as tragic slip.

One black mana kills: Sun Titan, Primeval Titan, Vengeful Archon, Knight Exemplar, Angelic Arbiter, Vengevine, Baneslayer Angel, Duskdale Wurm, and let's not forget the early game where you may not want to waste your more flexible Doom Blade taking out things like Elite Vanguard, Birds of Paradise, or Llanowar Elves which could be critical to establishing board control from turn 1.

Combust (red) - Deathmark always works for 1‚ this USUALLY works for 2.
Deathmark (black) - A one mana mono-Terminate.
Flashfreeze (blue) - Hard Cancel for U less.
Celestial Purge (white) - Strictly better than Iona's Judgement.
D.Counter = 1 or 2
Soft Removal = 2
Removal = 3
Counter = 2 or 3
Exile = 5 or 6
The message is clear: "BUY MORE WALLETSLAYER DVDS"
Sideboard the hell out of it.
