Er. Well first then I guess. Must be a new reprint.

Hm, the flavor text is kind of misplaced now...

This card deserves new art after 5 years. Good at first, but its gotten a bit old

Surprised this didn't get new art. Still an excellent card.

Needs new art. Bad. Still a great card.

No reason not to run this over murder in a mono black deck. Misthollow Griffin is a poor reason.

I was hoping for a Orzov reprint. It would have been glorious with new art. I always thought maybe a Orzhov Priest making an enemy disappear would look great in art form.

I don't really like this card. Black has a lot more creature removal options and white is actually very good at it as long as the opposing creature does something.

I love the art, but its so very specific to shadowmoor that I wish they would change it up. Still, this is an amazing card. Great no questions asked removal. Not quite up at the level of Vindicate or Swords to Plowshares but still way above the curve.
I am still not sure why they decided to print the hybrid costed cards at a power level equivalent to spells that require two colors. Most of the time its an advantage, allowing white or black decks to play it and offering supreme flexibility to Orzhov decks. The only time you pay for that flexibility is against creatures with protection.

@sincleanser- You are correct that both and have a full suite of removal spells, but as you alluded to they often have stipulations; in they may need to be attacking or blocking, and in they may need to be non-black, and/or non-artifact. Unmake has no such restrictions, is an instant, and exiles. This is an extremely solid choice for monowhite, monoblack, or a deck that can resonably run both. Due to the 3 colored CMC, it may be a stretch to run this in an x/, or x/ deck.

@MRK1: the reason is reanimation
still, 4.5/5 for three mana removal, no questions asked. especially in white. the only down side to this is the splash-ability and the potential to have protection from an additional color.
