Either way they're great and under the curve.

Eldrazi Green rarely plays anything that isn't a land or a creature, aside from a couple slots for Nissa Revane and Eldrazi Monument so this is golden.

It's already a great card by itself, there are many decks that work smoothly with a majority of creatures as non-land cards.
It also combines nicely with Oracle of Mul Daya.
And again, if playing other formats, this will make a good combination with Wolf-Skull Shaman and Leaf-Crowned Elder.

Hello, may I speak to Sensei's Divining Top?
Hi, yes, this is Sensei's Divining Top. How may I help you? Do you need mana or a fattie? All you need to do is pay 1 mana and I'll get you what you need.
Thanks!

I... don't know about this one. It looks good on paper, but really, I'd still rather have my Elvish Archdruid as my T2 drop in my Elf deck. Nice in limited though!

Yeah I was kind of hoping this would be like an elf vampire kind of thing because they look to much more menacing that other elves.

Dude, these guys are amazing! I can't understand the people that are unimpressed.... not only can you have a 5/5 on turn 2, but they are also elf tribal AND can mana fix any color.

pffft... nasty.

Some simple library manipulation and/or effects that cause you to shuffle (primarily land fetching in green) and these two girls can kick your ass, reliably.

People keep calling it "unreliable".
What's so unreliable about it?
At worst, it's a 2/2 body. Nothing to scoff at in general.
At it's intended peaks, it's a 5/5, or a double mana producer.
For three mana, it's hard to say that its "unreliability" outweighs its advantages.
Although, I will admit such a gamble seems more black-oriented.

definitely requires a deck with very few or no non-creature non-land cards. If your top decks a creature great you just got yourself a three drop 5/5. Otherwise the mana acceleration will help spill more of your hand on to the board fast. Its win or win slightly less. Good card i think I'll get a set cause I'm a sucker for Elves. (Plus three solid creature types is a bonus)

Very good in any creature intensive deck.

This is one of the most efficient cards in standard.

Could be neat if the top card was Dryad Arbor. Keep it there with Sensei's Divining Top and you can choose to have it fight or produce two mana.

This in an Elf deck? Someone's doing it wrong.

I run the Channeler's in my Eldrazi deck. They're either spare mana, or another set of strong hands to start swinging (alongside Leatherback Baloth and Greenweaver Druid, who both cost CMC 3, if you notice).

One of my favorite combos is having her and Lurking Predators out at the same time with an Eldrazi sitting on the top of my library. "You can cast that spell, but if you do, I get this creature." Also fun when adding Wild Pair. "You can cast that spell, but if you do, I get this creature. If you don't, I will cast this creature next turn, and get another."

Then again, I play black mainly, so I may be biased.

play it with a Bloodline Shaman, and if you decide that you want the revealed creature now rather than later, you can go ahead and put it in your hand

Very cool, but ultimately impractical.

A deck that plays this will be effectively limiting itself from playing artifacts, enchantments, instants, sorceries, and planeswalker.
And without a lot of library manipulation, you will inevitably get the effect you don't want at the time.

I do really like the flavor for this, what with the dual class types each representing one of its abilities.

I find it's actually rarely useful, which is a shame as I love this card to death. As a casual player, the 3cc really isn't too important, so either it's just another 5/5 on a turn you don't plan on attacking, or if you're lucky, it's GreenGreen to play with before a mostly dead draw.

I don't know why none of you are talkin' about freed from the real or pemmin's aura...

add soothsaying to this equation- and you have infinite mana of any color and any card out of your deck that you need the next time you draw.

if you can't win with this card you're not trying hard enough.

Great card. Another reason why Sensei's Divining Top it over the top.

Even outside of elf-decks, this is so good. Naya decks seems to smile over this.

I play these ladies in a Wild Pair deck combined with blue to manipulate the top card so they will enter as a 5/5 for 3 mana and fetch something like Avenger of Zendikar or Tidespout Tyrant. Or I use their reveal ability to my advantage with Conundrum Sphinx. I love playing that deck.
