If it put in an Elf token instead, think of the craziness that would ensue.

@OutlawD1: It's hard for a 2 drop green creature not to be better than Grizzly Bears.
Awesome card. Not as broken as others would have you believe in that it has to go in an Elf or Shaman tribal deck, and there's lots of competition when it comes to two drops (like Vanquisher). Still, a very good card.
Is that a 2/2. . . that makes 2/2s!? Over the course of the game? Gimme.

If you're making a Shaman tribal deck, combine this one with Oracle of Mul Daya. (In block-constructed or for budget reasons, you can use Gilt-Leaf Seer)
In general i'd advise using Sensei's Divining Top or Mirri's Guile in a Shaman deck since most of them have effects that are dependant on your top card.
@made4ipod: You can't quite compare these, Garruk's companion has a cost of , which makes a huge difference if you run more than one color. However, you can compare Wolf-Skull Shaman to the classic (which, by the way, coined the term "bear" for a 2/2 body). Not that there were a ton of drops before that were strictly better than the bears (ignoring creature types), like Wild Mongrel for instance. But this one is a pretty tough comparison to the bears nonetheless since (again, ignoring creature types) it can create further bears visually for free.

The guys need to realize that it is impossible to accurately cost a vanilla 2/2. If you make it it is too good. If you make it is is pretty bad. And "pretty bad" is printable. You have to give it some ability or it isn't worth it. Personally, I am more likely to run Kavu Predator, but this guy is better in some situations.

so wait...
He is a wolf-babysitter, and everytime a neighbour elf or shaman drops by they let him watch over their doggy? Sounds like a bad deal to me, he does not get any cash for that... and they make a big mess.
You can see he is really pi55ed off too - on his right side he is trying to trip the wolf, with his left hand he holds his mouth cause he can't bear the barking anymore. The way the one in the front yelps looks like he just kicked him in the nards.
Man, his hatred goes so far that he even carries a wolf-skull on his wackingstick to show the people he does not like them, calls himself "wolf-skull"... but they don't care, they don't listen, they just keep dropping off one wolf after another.
What a cruel card, really feel sorry for this guy
Oh and did i mention they wolves are as strong as grizzly bears? sheesh...

Leafbladefighter's Card of the Every-Once-in-a-While No. 3. Nice. Lets you see the top card of your deck, gets you 2/2's. Just wish you could get elves. I would even be happy with 1/1's. 4/5. Use it your elf decks kids. And your elf decks, and shaman decks... you know... if you can scoop together enough obscure cards to do that.

As much a shaman as Master of the Wild Hunt.
